Lots of us paying big chunks off our Virgin cards. They're gonna love jwil for starting this thread!
If my balance transfer comes through, that will be MBNA gone forever! Same company, so yes, they might really love us all"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Thanks everyone for the updates, off to update the first page now.
I got my credit card statement this morning and I've paid off..... £3! Woo hoo!:rotfl: It shows how slowly the balance goes down if you just pay minimum payment "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". im still really motivated and cant wait to get paid next week to really get cracking but i was got pursuaded on clarks website via here to buy three new pairs of shoes/boots. so unfortunately ive spent over £80 that could have gone on debt so im cross with myself.
!!!!!! !!!!!! !!!!!! but you need shoes right ??0 -
I'm sorry I'm having a really struggle right now with paying anything off. My budgeting is rubbish and in the month my earnings took a skydive my car insurance is due so I'm putting as much credit on as I'm taking off.
Work is really quiet and that is not helping at all. Next month will be a poor month too. And Mr Inland Revenue needed my taxes this month (oh the joys of self employment). Tax thankfully seems to be the only thing I am organised to budget for!
So I've paid off a total of £434.60
but spent (and interest charges) of £56.31
but expect to spend about £400
Ho hum. Sorry to moan. I do feel better for posting this though.:o
Well done to everyone who is managing to get some payments made though :T0 -

You don't need three new pairs! No you don't! When they arrive, send two pairs back and put the money to your debt. Come on, it's only Jan 13, you can't go splurging already!0
