Ooooh.. can you get the peson who became DF to come and update Jwil - maybe send him/her a private message? It would boost our total!
I've had to channel some gig money into our quite ridiculous joint account overdraft this month. Not sure what happened but we're suddenly £800 overdrawn which is infuriating, having kept it in check all year. Christmas shopping and elderly father bills I think, is what's tipped it over the edge.0 -
Well no payments for me until payday.I've just invested the spare cash on company shares. They are very low at the minute but are on the up which would be a very good return. We've only invested what we can afford to lose but hopefully will help pay off a good chunk of debt if all goes well.:money:Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Aww thanks mmikailian, it's not me that's been working hard - it wouldn't be so successful if it wasn't for everyone taking part!
We should all be proud of ourselves.
I do 'see' some of those people around in other threads, and know at least one person who never updated became DF this year, so some are working hard at it.
When I do the totals, I will also do a total which takes off those people and perhaps those who only updated once then never came back. Often people said 'I would like to join, so far I've paid off ...' so there are some with a figure against their name who didn't come back either.
I'm sure there are some lurking though, who for whatever reason didn't manage to pay a lot off this year, and it would still be nice to see them again too though - even £1 counts!
Good luck with the 2nd interview though!
Thansk Jwil They have just called me to say I am successful Yippeee now I can get back to paying of my debts yes.0 -
Pay day at last!!
Even more annoyed with myself now I can see how close I would have been if not for my crazy spend-a-thon
Still, I can't change that now, but can try not to do the same in the future!
My current total is:

Don't think I updated last month due to so much going in and out and not really knowing where I was but this month has been a bit more organised so my new total is....

Hi all
Just got caught up with thread - not been posting much as been away and also been trying to get the money together for new boiler  Ours has completely brokenSo understandably this has impacted on overpayments - this and the fact that i have not had any luck nabbing any MS's which used to help keep things ticking over for me
Anyways total for the month: £6500.64/10,000
Hoping to make some headway next month though - i know its xmas but i have bought a few gifts for OHs family which he needs to pay me back for- Please don't think i'm tight - i buy the gifts for my family, OH buys the gifts for his and then we put them as being from both of us - we both spend about the same amount
- but if i spot gifts i get them and OH pays me back
Hence why i'm expecting some funds in december
