  • New updated figure after regular CC payments is 2194.89. CC2 is so close to being under 100 that i feel so excited all i can think is another payment and it will be under 100:j:j:j Other CC is coming down slower but that was a larger balance so as soon as CC2 is paid i can add the payment i make now onto the larger balance.

  • Well I have been a busy bee this week and it's only Tuesday!! Yesterday I posted a load of ebay things I've sold, plus an old mobile to fonebank and returned something I really didn't have any use for to asos. Today I've already had an email from fonebank saying they've received my mobile and have sent the cash to my bank and it should be there in the next couple of days - £36 for a dust collector isn't bad I thought!!

Soooo, checked my bank balance just now and I have enough to cover essentials for the rest of the month plus a smidge extra, so have sent another £50 to the credit card - which means I only have £1090 outstanding debt which is AWESOME and makes it seem like I might actually be able to one day clear it!! If I can find another £91 this month I'll have less than a grand outstanding - how amazing would that be?!? I could start 2012 off with a clear slate!! My payments had been getting less and less each month, but this month has been really good - next month I'm doing all my xmas shopping so probably won't pay as much then, but I'll know exactly where I stand after that and will be able to blitz it (hopefully!!)

    So after today's payment:

    £2345/£3435

  • am really sorry folks had some really bad personal stuff going on so have not been on the site for ages. done a recent catch up and am the total so far is drum roll £5301/ 7000

am really shocked as sometimes you just make the payment and not really see the achievements you have made. seeing the total and recently checking my credit scores illustrated my personal journey. I just want to say many thanks for being a group that I can always turn to:p:p
