Morning all. Payday for me so £925 paid off various debts, taking me thriugh the target I originally set. Could I increase it to £7500 please? Feel very depressed about how hard I've worked the last few months yet how far there still is to go. I think I need another ebay session to see if I can close Next account this month that currently stands at £390 to pick myself up and see something else ticked off my spreadsheet. Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Oh and £62.98 min payment to capital one. Which takes me to under £5k owing, whoop whoop! That is seriously starting to feel like a small light at the end of the tunnel.

£35.78 off Barclacyard. It was actually m ore but I just discovered, to my disgruntlement, that BC don't take minimum DD payments if you've already made an overpayment that month. Isn't that annoying? So I thought I'd paid off more than I had. Bah humbug.

I find it really frustrating when they do that. I wish there was a standard for them all. With one of my cards, I can only make a payment of the min payment or more. They will still take the min payment anyway, so if I want to overpay, it's got to be a figure which is at least the minimum payment. I don't bother with this card, and it will be the last one I tackle for that reason.

No problem. You've had a lot going on this year, so don't feel too despondent - you've managed to pay off over £5k taking all that into account - that's amazing!

Well it's finally time for my PAM.
This month I tried a different course of action and left all my money in my current account. Then if I needed to buy something for (you know) the C word I would have funds available.
But I have been very, very good and managed to make an overpayment of £300!!
This method obviously works for me as they is my highest overpayment :j:j
Ooh just noticed I only need to pay £17.43 and I will have hit 50%.
Only 3 months late. But better late than never, which it would have been without this thread (thank you jwil et al)
