Not done one of those, looks like you just get a free coffee, no pay, so it's up to you whether you think it's worthwhile or not, are you going to be in the area anyway? oh and always alway follow the brief.

Especially the timing! Don't go a minute too early or too late. I've been stung on that one in the past by 2 minutes, only because their till timing was out.

Sorry to hear that duck. The previous allocator was top notch. She even offered me double mileage to do visits that were slightly out of my area. I hope she comes back soon. She was the best.

Oh, it wasn't a problem, they were perfectly nice about it. :)
  • Aaaarrrghh!

I think there's something wrong with me, whenever I see a shop that's vaguely in my area (or I know where it is) I find myself clicking "accept". I lined myself up 16 jobs last weekend with a 175 mile round trip and by Sunday I said 'Never again!', well I've just looked through my diary to see what the weekend's looking like to see if I could fit in another nice one and I've aready got 6 for Saturday!

I feel like MSing is taking over my life, I can't say no :(

Does anyone else have this? It's been so quiet in my area lately that I think I've just gone mad because I know this can't last.

When I started in June I did around 3 a month until December because that was all that was offered, now, for some reason it's gone mad!

Sods law that it's the busiest time of the year in my real job and I really should be spending my lunchtimes and weekends in the office instead of galivanting around asking about phones, current accounts and holidays.

I bet that in February (when actual work is dead quiet) there'll be nothing :rotfl:

Anyone used JKS, Catalyst or React?

Did one job for JKS but the store closed down shortly afterwards (nothing to do with me!) and I've not had anything else since.

Catalyst only seem to have one client and I've done the stores near me several times.

React are hit and miss. I apply for things but don't always get them. Sometimes it's strange as I'll apply for several jobs in the same place, but only get one. It's odd as I would have thought they'd give them all to one person to save mileage.
Here I go again on my own....

My last mystery job involved having to take an exam. Then making sure I failed and to top it all have to cheat.

Not a very pleasant assignment but paid well.

That's rubbish, whereabouts are you? Maybe they stagger the releases over the country so month 1/2 is South, 3/4 is west etc? Either that or someone in your area needs to step away fom their computer and get a life :rotfl:

Also who are you signed up for? GFK and GR make up the bulk of my weekday trips with the odd TNS supermarket for lunch and then React, Bare and Tern seem to take over my weekends. RE gets wedged in anytime I'm in the area anyway. Gap I'm still limited to 2 a month so they don't make up much.

Actually, out of all the jobs I apply for on React, Bare and Tern I probably only get 1 in 10 :(
