The original allocator was top notch. 90% of the time I got what I applied for. The new allocator rarely gives me anything. 99% of the visits I apply for, I don't get. But it's all good, I think. LOL.

i applied for about 7 or 8 coffee shops a couple of weeks ago and they stayed as 'pending' for ages, then over the course of a day i received email after email telling me that i was unsuccessful but maybe i'd be lucky next time, i kept deleting those suckers, saying "that's it, never again" but like a fool i keep on trying. I wonder who the lucky folk are.:D:D:D

I can't help thinking there is something slightly odd going on with these - I have never been able to get a "retail" coffee outlet and the same thing you describe above keeps happening but I have done the same 3-4 "franchise" outlets several times each... strange...

They never give me coffee of any sort. I only get jewellery audits and attractions. At least I get something so shouldn't complain.

I never got allocated any and asked and they told me they allocate to people who live closer as it's less mileage and that I would get a turn at some point...but I gave up applying as I was bored of the rejection email.

Sorry to hear that duck. The previous allocator was top notch. She even offered me double mileage to do visits that were slightly out of my area. I hope she comes back soon. She was the best.

Is everyone still getting a lot of visits? I only have 2 left to do this month. So much for the 7 a week I was hoping for like I had in the first week of January. Boohiss!

I've got six more, i've released another 3 that were for this week (major lurgies), 2 were booked last year and the others, staying up very late and checking RE and last minute calls.

Can I call on you lot for some advice - the coffee shops on tns sassie, are they worth doing? I would not particular order what they state you have to order and am I missing something or is there no reimbursement?

Not done one of those, looks like you just get a free coffee, no pay, so it's up to you whether you think it's worthwhile or not, are you going to be in the area anyway? oh and always alway follow the brief.

I've got one to do on Friday but only cos I'm in town anyways and its a good way to get a free lunch...

I wouldn't go out of my way to do it since it is reimbursement only and no fee
