If it's any consolation, I think quite a few of us have done the wrong shop before. I certainly have. And that was in a high street that I'm in all the time! Did the wrong bookies shop. Never realised that there was one of the same branch at each end of the street.
I did completely the wrong shop once. As in a completely different brand/company. NO idea what I was thinking that day, other than I thought I knew where it was but got my clothes shops mixed up0 -
I am a rubbish shopper at the mo. The stuff I didn't get done due to snow is still either being postponed (due to a snow related car problem) if it's out of town, or screwed up! Lost a receipt. some photos didn't save properly, or just forgotten as i didn't write it down properly! Bah! Months spent building up a good reputation - and I'm blowing it all!
I had a week like this not long ago. I think I just had far too much on, and it resulted in me visiting the wrong branch of a bank (first time ever I've done this!), getting the dates mixed up for one job (another first), and forgetting to ask for two receipts! Luckily it was pretty much all redeemable, but I was cursing myself!Egg Loan - [strike]£4921.84[/strike] £0!! :j Barclaycard - £3866.47 Legal + Trade - [strike]£2700.96[/strike] £0!! :j Triton - [strike]£1730.89[/strike] £0!! :j Next - [STRIKE]£776.15[/STRIKE] £126.88 Littlewoods - [strike]£217.16[/strike] £0!! :j Housemate - [strike]£1300[/strike] £0!! :j Capital One - [STRIKE]£1652.51[/STRIKE] £1,081.58 Vanquis - [strike]£2337.75[/strike] £375.58

Wouldn't have minded but it was really out of my way and a horrible busy shopping centre! Will have to take the item back now - here's hoping my local store will do so for me.
Yet another lesson learned in mystery shopping (mostly: don't go to a city you're unfamiliar with)
How did they know it was the wrong store?
Surely you got the name correct?
If the MS Co is using the receipt number (not address) they themselves could have got it wrong.
RE did this to me once-their Db was wrong. Luckily I was in my home town so knew what I was talking about. :cool:0 -

anyone done 'socialable' coffee. I assume I ask for 2 lattes? brief says ask for a latte, but reimburses for 2!0

Had a booked apt for a financial institute this morning. Interview took 45 minutes. Did they take my address and phone number during that time? NO! How are they going to do a follow up!?!?! Naughty naughty.0
