Absolutely gutted - I've just been told that my bracelet shop was the wrong store and won't be paid :( Wouldn't have minded but it was really out of my way and a horrible busy shopping centre! Will have to take the item back now - here's hoping my local store will do so for me.

Yet another lesson learned in mystery shopping (mostly: don't go to a city you're unfamiliar with) :(

Oh what a shame! It is so hard to tell though when you are in a big shopping centre. I hope you get the refund ok anyway.:)

Was there a big difference in address. I once had an issue where there were two bookmakers on the same row (i didn't know) and they rejected the report saying i went to the wrong one.

I pointed out that google map pointed to the shop i went to (turned out google map was wrong two) and argued if google map believed it was there, i was unaware that there were two and the shops don'e have the addresses on. The only way to verify the address was by asking. I pointed out that would be a slight give away.

After getting past the monkey the organ grinder agreed and paid me

Would you be able to argue that you reasonably couldn't have been aware you were at the wrong location?
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

It would be great to meet up if everyone else is up for it - anyone got any coffee shop jobs in Alty ??

Hello Ladies - would be great to meet up in Jan. You guys organise it and I'll fit in, or PM me and I'll give you my dates. And MG, I dont do Gyp jobs and try not to do banks if I can help it, so it seems we are a good pairing. :T
  • What's withe the length of the reports for RE? I did my first GR job today and did the report in 10 mins. 25 down the line and I'm still trying to finish the RE one :(

This is why no-one does them, they take ages for not much money
  • They are good for experience though. I haven't done mystery shopping in about 8 years so its good getting back into it with those jobs, but I know what you mean!
