Generally half fee for a closed shop is what most companies will give. She can offset mileage/travel in her tax anyway so this shouldn't be a problem.
In terms of jobs she can expect less than someone over 25 (bizzare the number of companies who want you to be over 25 to do certain jobs) but still plenty to keep her going. Do encourage her to sign up to ESA, REACT and TNS who do challenge 25 visits so they want people her age.0 -
Doing two big stores tomorrow with several departments and an audit.
Still having problems with courier deliveries here and I'm waiting for POS deliveries to do:
2 x pharmacy and healthcare dept merchandising
1 x beer merchandising
4 x Easter egg merchandising
3 x beauty products merchandising
They'll be slotted in during the week - hopefully on Wed and Thurs.
Going to a spa for a massage on Friday - Christmas present, not a MS
Another audit and a big department store to do on Sat and an audit on Sun.
So quite busy really!

Hi Robert, I'm a bit bored waiting for my train so I'm gonna answer the question on behalf of Beccles because someonese else had asked her yesterday.
She does the merchandising for IMS, FSS, CPM, ABAI and the company that cannot be mentioned.0 -

Petrol up to near record levels, will it affect the work you take on? Are you now more likely to bounce work off that is a bit further adrift now?
I know I am, I simply can't afford the trips but I'm between a rock and a hard place too with income and what not so can't reject too much so it's a trade off situation.(DFW Long Haul # 240 )0 -

Tell me about it! Just popped to my local supermarket and noticed that Diesel is now £1.32 per litre! That means it has gone up by 10p since before Christmas. I know there is a VAT rise but I thought it would only add on 3p. Luckily both petrol and diesel are cheaper in Ipswich (the biggest town nearest to me) and I tend to stock up there. Can't believe the rise though. When I first got a diesel car, diesel was around 89p per litre.0 -
Afternoon everyone. I know this question has been asked before but I couldn't find it when I searched. If I buy a mobile to use for MSing can I claim the full lot back off the tax if it is to be used solely for this?0

I see misssarahleigh's proposal to thank everyone on the alerts thread is working well - never seen so many thanks for RE jobs before!!!
On a similiar note, it is also probably a good idea to thank people who reply to specific queries on this thread. Not that I've taken the hump or anything............January 2012 GC £296.96/£3000
