I got a call today asking me to do an already inflated fee job -whilst waiting for them to call me back with approval for adding mileage I noticed they had two other jobs in the same town also ending today so further bartering ensued. Doesn't quite make up for the miserable weather-but it helps.

    Hi,

Is there anyone who does the First Tracking trailer audits who could give me a bit of a pep talk/explanation?

Doing my first one over the weekend and suddenly panicking that I have no idea how I'm going to do them or what I need to do :(

    Any help much appreciated.

Haven't done one for a while, but don't panic!! They're very easy to do. It's all overt, so you don't need to snoop around. I get there early and get a seat by the exit. It can be dark so I get my phone out to illuminate the paper i'm writing on.

Thanks Lil_Me. One more question, how do I know how many screens, what time etc, can I just phone the manager and ask before I go? Or do I have to guess based on the times/length like it says in instructions?

I've signed myself up to do 2 in the same town so would hope to do them both on the same day if I can do you think that's realistic?

Still waiting for mine. And I'm missing payment for two jobs. :(

ESA look to have paid early. :D

Are you basing this on the 10th or the normal date of the 18th?

Even taking mine back to the 18th and factoring in the coffee from the previous month i'm miles to the good.

Mostly depends on the cinema and how big it is!

Here's an example from my local cinema -

    The Film

    (12A - 1:38 mins)
    11:20am, 11:50am, 2:15pm, 2:45pm, 4:45pm, 5:15pm, 7:15pm, 7:45pm, 9:45pm, 10:15pm, 12:05am, 12:35am

    The Film [DIRECTOR’S HALL ]
    (12A - 1:38 mins)
    12:20pm, 3:15pm, 5:45pm, 8:15pm, 10:45pm

You can see that the film is 1hr 38mins long, plus the trailers, so you're looking at just over 2 hours.

Based on this you know that if Reel number 1 is being shown at 11:20, then there must be a Reel number 2 at 11:50 as they're showing at the same time. There is also another showing in another screen at 12:20 which again is going to be showing at the same time as Reel 1 and Reel 2 so this one is Reel 3.

By the time 14:15 comes around Reel 1 will have had time to play through, so the cinema will be using Reel 1 again.

    Hope that makes sense!
