Did my own shopping this morning at 8am in a totally dead Tesco. It snowed heavily overnight here and it was tough getting out, but I'm pleased I did as I just breezed around the store at leisure, got all I wanted and I didn't have to queue at the tills :D

Then onto another supermarket for a job, which was also fairly quiet. Managed to park near the doors and it was only the fresh produce, bakery and alcohol aisles that were busy. Rest of the store was quiet.

Picked up the meat from the butchers on the way home, so that's me finished with shops for Christmas.

Hope everyone has a lovely peaceful Christmas xx
Here I go again on my own....

Ah thats just normal. Any jobs you have done for them and have been proof read and okayed for pay by close of business on the 20th every month, is included in the payrun for the 9th of the next month.

Really? Aww, no. :( I know the cut off date is the 20th, but I've never seen my pay statement appear so early. Oh well - I'll use it to offset the cost of Christmas in the New Year! :D

I see the Bare car visits now have a reduced fee...

Despite firing myself, I went to have a look. That's miserable, just enough to save them lots of money over all the visits and not quite enough that you wouldn't do it. They are hard jobs, each one individually is fine but the risk of doing a circuit and not getting paid at all means I would want more pay, not less. :(
  • Thats a bit of a pain then for the react money. I expected it to be in tomorrow, as they usually quite good if the pay date is on a weekend, so it gets paid on the friday, and then with it being bank holiday as well. Oh well, early next week then hopefully.

Yes, they will be saving loads of money over all the circuits they do... Our costs are going up - just look at the price of petrol now, so once again we come out worse off!
