Been signed up with 5 companies since beginning of Jan and only done two jobs so far. I think I must miss a lot due to not having one of those smart phone thingys either that or I live in an area that doesn't need many MSers...

Still having the issue with GAP that I can't seem to choose times for some jobs, missed out on a job I wanted to do like that. *sigh*

    Hello all.

Am just off to do a React Cinema job. I know the notes say not to watch 3D films as they are more expensive, but just wondered if anyone had done so and offered to pay the extra themselves? I might just die of boredom if I have to watch 'The King's Speech', and my daughter will never forgive me. I want Disney!!

On another note, that's the last time I do an RE pizza job, £36 for three bits of rubber, and the lady on the phone didn't even mention the free side orders I should have got. Grr.

You're not allowed to do this unfortunately. I rang the allocator to ask this a couple of months ago, as there was nothing 2D that I wanted to see, and he said the client won't allow it. :(

Where abouts to do you live and which companies have you signed up to MrsG?

I don't have a smart phone, but make sure I check a couple of times a day.
A thought, are you signed up to the alerts thread?
  • Anyone recommend a good MS agency offering assignments in Belfast area? I'm using RE but find its always pretty much the same jobs coming up all the time ... and there aren't all that many! What are other users from NI's experiences with RE, just out of interest?

You're probably best off looking at what all the different companies are offering in your area. Have you looked at all the companies listed in the first post? if you have i'd recommed you just sign up to as many as you can, then you'll get a better idea of what's on offer.

Who are you signed up with? I just signed up to all the companies on the list at the beginning of this thread on Tuesday (1 Feb) and I've already done 2 jobs and got another booked in. Admittedly, 2 are with Gap and another with RE, but I don't seem to have had many problems.... And I don't have a smartphone either - I just keep checking the websites!

I do though:( I check my emails and the jobs go within about 5 secs, buying Glasto tickets was easier:(.

No I'm not, how do I get that?

Listed companies in a PP. I am working my way through all the companies listed in this thread though so maybe I will get more.
I've done one with RE and one with OC so far. I reckon it's location tbh.
