Well that depends really. The fees are pretty terrible, they apparently randomly sack people (although this has not happened to me) and they will call you continuously at work/home/everywhere to offload urgent jobs. Having said that, the jobs do get a bit more worthwhile when they are urgent as they are not averse to adding on a bonus or throwing in a few more desirable jobs to get them done.
So... if you don't mind the calls there is nothing to be lost with registering with them. Especially if you happen to like greasy burgers...0 -

In relation to tax returns if I do a job whilst still in this tax year but don't get paid for it until next tax year which year's income do I include it in? I've been keeping a spreadsheet as I go along and have the dates of when I did and got paid for everything but have just realised I don't know whether to start a new one with the first job I do in the next tax year or the first pay I receive.0

For TNS supermarkets, it says 'please do not accept this visit if you have visited this location in the past 4 months' does that apply to off the job visits or assignments?
Does anyone know?0 -

It means you can't have done any MS assignments in that location for either them or another MS company in the last 4 months. E.g. you can't accept one where you have to spend in cafe & petrol and then apply for one in the phone tech departement a couple of months later, or do a shop in that store for RE then a couple of months later do one for TNS. If you've visited just to do your normal shopping then that's fine.
It's only there as the staff may vaguely remember you, then when they see you think "That was the shopper from last month" (for TNS or another company) and then they'll behave differently just to get a good report. It's to give the staff time to forget.0 -

Up to you, but be consistent each year. I go with the date I do the job personally as that's easier to keep track of than when I get paid.0
