JackieO, glad David's coming home :)

Everything – and I mean everything, right down to teaspoons - was covered in dust, I spent most of yesterday washing up. We’ve moved the piggies back ‘home’, they’ve been in our bedroom for the last few days.

Off to Morrisons in a bit, then home to clear up the rest of the mess. By the end of today, the dust WILL be gone.

The kitchen we’re going to buy is going to be more expensive after Christmas (VAT increase) so if I buy it now, could one of you store for me til mid-january? I’d be ever so grateful :D

Not a lot planned for today apart from housework

FIL phoned last night to say that they have got 2 shizu rescue dogs, they are older dogs that people usually pass by but because FIL and MIL are elderly themselves they are ideal to look after them. They are over the moon :D

We might go and see them this afternoon

Well I am off to get cracking

    Have good days all x

  • Morning All,

Boys are still sick :( Ds1's cough has had him up most of the night, and DS2 has a temp again and is snuffly - they are still in bed at the moment poor souls, which means I need to cancel my hospital appointment, and the shopping is off again, so the house in theory should be spotless today. Why is in theory the only place things work out? ;)

Glad to hear your brother has improved so much he's getting home, Jackie. Mioliere I hope the news on your BIL comes soon, and is good.xx Pollys hugs for you too.

Plan for today is more house cleaning, can't do much else really, I need to clean the inside the kitchen windows, and put the baubles up on them. Hopefully my sister can pop up for half an hour later and let me get out for a few bits and pieces this afternoon. I am a bit panicked about what I still have to do, but she's keeping me calm, she's the angel on my shoulder :)

I hope you're all well today, hugs for the poorlies and anyone else with worries.

Well OS wise I have a lot I need to get done tonight – the dishes for starters…..

My brother has moved in with me so I will also have to stick a load of washing through – he only likes to do his at the weekend so I will need to make sure that all of mine is sorted otherwise next Monday I will be scuppered…

I have cooked a load of chilli, so will have a spud tonight – he wasn’t home in time to eat last night so I don’t know what he did for dinner…

I will endeavour to pick up some hair gel for him, as I asked of he needed anything form town, and after I’d got home – and the shops had shut he asked me to pick some up for him…

Got a few prezzies to wrap, but now apart from the food shopping I am pretty much sorted….

Hugs to all that need them, and I hope that someone has some sun somewhere. JJJ

    Good Morning All

Hester - Hope you have a better day with the teenagers.

mioliere = Hugs for you and your family.

Jackieo = good to hear your news.

Taplady = thank you for asking about my dad x

Dad was so much better yesterday. We had a chat with the nurse and they are very pleased with his progress. They might try him without the catheter today. The Consultant came round and said the surgeon had done a good job.

DS still off school with the headachey bug thing but will hopefully be back tomorrow.

WM and DW on. General tidy up, then off to visit dad this afternoon, he has requested a cheese sandwich he is not enjoying the evening meal in hospital.

Have a good day everyone whatever your plans.
