A word of advice - get there early if you want one! When they were selling the mens lambswool sweaters for £10 a fortnight ago for one day only it was like a bunfight - only one stand - and they had sold out by 10.00 a.m.!!

Exactly, off for mine now................back soon.

Just had a call from a very harassed husband as he was expecting only one style and didn't know which one to get. He said he'd get a smaller size as they looked big, Nooooo. Not sure what he'll return with, poor man, he hates queues and he's just said you queue to view, queue to select and then queue to pay.
  • My store opened at 9am and I got there at about 9.03... there was already a queue of 40-50 people waiting, apparently they had been outside since 7.45!
Anyway I managed to get one in purple, it's a really nice shade of purple. I had the cardboard tag stamped with "loyalty card" but I assume this is to prevent people trying to get full price giftcard refunds tomorrow by forgetting their receipt.
The queue actually moved quite quickly, it took about 10 minutes of waiting, then a 5 mins in the queue to pay and I was back to my car by 9.22 :)
They were very strict with the 1 per customer thing, somehow a lady had managed to get 2 (whether she was carrying one for her friend or not I don't know) and she was followed by a staff member into the food hall and stopped.
Not tried mine on yet and never bought clothes from marks before, but needed a new cardigan for work, so hopefully it looks nice :)

  • we got to the Speke M & S for 5 to 9 and there was a small queue...there were loads of different styles and colours but not many sizes in each so I expect them to be sold out pretty soon.
Got a gorgeous ribbed one in beige for MIL I wish Dh could have come to get me one too !!!!
    :kisses:
  • Just bought a blue ribbed one for a prezzie. :) Was a small queue - barely had time to look as the sales assistants asks you what you want and then hands it to you quickly.

Sure they will be out of stock quickly

Got a red ribbed one and a plain grey one (a bit more dressy) - both slightly different styles.

M&S Silverlink opened early (8.50) as it was snowing slightly and when we arrived at 9am we were directed upstairs and there were already dozen and dozens in the queue. We were offered biscuits while we waited and to be honest we only queued about 12 minutes.

They had hundreds, many colours and a few styles - red ones were diminishing quickly though - by far the most popular choice.

    Good luck.
