Yeah but he has more posts than you.:p

So that makes him right, with his logic.;)

Can you explain the logic that you are accusing me of, I am at a loss as how you determined that my post count is relevant, I await your words of wisdom with baited breathe.

So why didn't you just post that instead of calling the OP selfish ? That is the answer needed!

Well the OP may well be selfish. No one has a right to park outside their home if the road is a pulic on the clue is public.

Many think it's a right for them to decide who parks there. They are wrong and in may peoples opinion selfish.

And what is the point in taking part in a discussion when you are causing an argument, if you got an opinion post it up by not attacking another user, its a very self centred selfish thing to do, now you don't like me saying those things about you, but that is what you brought to the thread, very troll like!

In your opinion and what makes you right?

OP, if you are still here,

The council and the police can still remove it and so can you actually.

The council can remove it after sticking a notice to dispose on it and because it is taxed they have to contact the owner at the last registered address and give suitable time for a response (it's legislated somewhere what the procedure is exactly).

The police can remove it if it is the focus of crime or is likely to attract criminal activity, for example has broken fuel cap kids could drop a match in there, has broken windows, is unlocked and you have seen kids playing around in it.

Is it insured check askmid? Don't tell the police it is not insured they will check that for themselves and you shouldn't be looking officially.

You can remove it as an abandoned car, tell the police your intentions and remove it to an off road location, write to DVLA to become the new keeper, then when you get the V5 you can do what you want with it. Before removing it, photograph it in situ from all angles and close up, and inside because the owner could claim against you for any damage you cause to it whilst in your care.

The OP could just easily be misinformed, so he comes to a forum with a reputation of offering constructive advice, and aak a question in regards to parking and seemingly abandoned vehicle, then a user accuses him of being selfish.

Now there is nothing wrong with offering advice and if people contradict each other in that advice then fine, but there is something wrong when someone makes a judgement of someone on a forum and make accusations of being selfish, as I said above, Martin Lewis set this website up to help people, not to judge people!

Taffy, why dont you head out over to this thread:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2936428

Over there you will find lots of name calling and opinions. e.g:

    "You sound bitter and immature"
"OP sounds terribly greedy, money grabbing and frankly quite unpleasant."
"Sorry - but you come across as avaricious, grasping, greedy and vengeful."

Go on Taffy, sort them out, you should have a field day over there.

Makes my 'selfish' look rather tame doesn't it...

Come on coming to a thread trying to cause an argument and disrupting it is troll like, there are no other words for it, I will stop when the unjustified attacks on the OP and the discussion around it ceases.
