25/01/21: Identity checks completed, solicitors instructed
27/01/21: Purchase survey & valuation complete, mortgage offer
received
05/02/21: Reduction agreed on partner's sale (under-valuation) & on
purchase. Mortgage offer amended
08/02/21: Buyers pack returned to solicitor - sellers packs already returned
26/02/21:
Partner's sale contract signed
10/03/21: Purchase searches all back
16/03/21: My sale contract signed
28/03/21: Purchase enquiries satisfied, Title
Report & contracts issued, contracts signed & returned
11/05/21: Still waiting on final enquiry in the adjoining chain to be resolved. Consent to break the chain granted, instruction to move to exchange given.
17/05/21: All parties agreed to June 3rd for completion
27/05/21: Exchanged on my sale only
28/05/21: ALL EXCHANGED!

I get all the way through to the review and place order screen and it still says £9.98 - that's after following the link in the e-mail I got sent.

thanks folks ...i took the code out of the box and went through paypal and the price had been reduced at the end

For me, I go through Paypal and it returns me to a Truprint page that says review and place order, total price £9.98 - Buy Now. That's not right is it?Property buying/selling timeline - currently into week 21

Ahhh sussed it. You have to keep going all the way even though it says£9.98, when you get to the confirmation page it says £1.99!!

Right, I had an account already registered, logged in and got a code emailed to me, wouldn't accept at end in payment window so I finally decided to register another email addy got a new code clicked on the link then it asked me immediately when I clicked through from the email for the code and accepted it at that point so no need for it to be entered at payment stage then sailed through Paypal payment with discount already taken off.
Hope that helps someone else.
