Really sorry some of you are having trouble getting this to work. The only issue I had when I did it was like I said in my OP that it seemed to be charging me the full amount but at xexkout took he discount off.

Glad some of you are managing to get the mug though and I hope the others of you get there in the end too!

it shows as being £7.99 right till the very last page on paypal, there's a paypal page that asks you to confirm your address, if you click confirm then the next page and very last page on paypal shows it up as being £1.99

my code also said it wasn't working but on the very last paypal page it changed to £1.99

I cant seem to pay, it keeps saying "We're sorry, we are not able to update your credit card at this time. This may be a temporary problem, so please try again later. If you continue to have trouble, please try another credit card."

Has anyone else had the same issue

What do you mean when you say it won't recognise the code? Why stage are you at?

I put it in at the beginning and it said credits had been applied. I then created the mug and went to checkout. At this point it seemed to be charging me £7.99. There was space for a code so I tried putting tw same code in again but it didn't recognise it. So then I just went to checkout to see what happened and right at the end before I confirmed it did change to £1.99 taking the discount off.

I think that was referring to my message, I was meaning my credit card didnt work, but it just used my paypal account and it worked. yeppee

I didn't need to type in a code at the checkout. Just leave it blank and go onto the next page and it should take the discount off.

If you have a paypal account I would use that, it worked first time for me
