Flying out end of week, snow?

I think you might be a trifle late for a hotel. We are regular travellers and always book a hotel for the previous night. In fact, for our January trip, we have booked 2 nights. If this snow keeps up, we might be very grateful we did, always assuming we can get to the airport:eek:

fwiw take into account the weather when you come home, and pack an emergency kit into the car -screen wash, shovel, grit/salt, deicer, blankets and some chocolate bars etc. just in case the roads are bad for travelling home when you land after you hol.

Hope the weather is lovely where you're going.... hands up who is in the "as long as we get there I don't mind if we're stranded in the sun " club?

Me and my partner are due to go away on Tuesday 21st to Tenerife along with my family. However, so far its not been a very good few days!

My partner was taken to hospital on Thursday as she was feeling unwell and passed out at work - turns out she has had a case of mild pneumonia- great!! She is now on strong Anti Biotics!

I had to go docs because of a tremendous sore throat - I have tonsillitus and am also on anti - biotics!!!

Then today we get huge amounts of snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We still have a load of washing to do, loads of packing to do and lots and lots of pressie wrapping to do, but neither of us have any energy!!!

I am really hoping we are going to feel better on Monday so we can rush around and pack!!!
