Thats fairly paranoid, and if you're paranoid enough to be gathering evidence pre threoretical crime then you should probably stay indoors for ever more, although feel free to stick your phone out of the letterbox and take snaps of the postman/milkman/jehovahs just in case they try to break in, burglarise you and rape you.....

Thats a bit of overkill dont you think? Whilst this is a horrible thing to have happened it doesnt happen often.Your basically puttin g every cab driver in the rapist category when its patently untrue.

Pre booking taxis with a company you use regularly and trust makes a lot more sense.Carry a rape alarm.

Scenario 1: You get in taxi, driver is a perv, knows you're alone, so drives you partway home and then attacks you.

Scenario 2: You get in taxi after taking pic and MMSing your mate, driver is same perv but now knows that if he attacks you your mate has a pic of him, [in essence you are no longer alone], so takes you home and leaves you alone.

Gee, which has the better outcome??

Of course other option is ...don't go out [ever] or get your dad to pick you up.

There is the option to "pre-book" (it means booking in advance;)), designate a driver or indeed queue up at any one of the designated taxi ranks. You would be surprised at how relatively "easy" it can be to lesser any potential risk of jumping into an "unlicensed" or "unregistered" taxi or cab, where such a perv may linger.
