Boys have been blackmailed into tidying their room. DD sitting on sofa playing, she's got a really bad cough at the minute. I'm watching the wm and td like a hawk, only another 4 loads and it should be all gone. :j
Gonna grab a cuppa and then make a start on the livingroom, need to get the fire lit to get my clothes dry.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

The snow has arrived again, small flurries at the mo. We are heading to Glasgow tonight to see Shakira so I am hoping the weather holds off. We have planned what to put in the car just in case.
Unsure but think OHs sister may still be at Heathrow, OH is so rubbish at checking up so I may have to send a text soon.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1931.07/£2700

Morning all!
Happy birthday to AnW'sMum and to Dippypud - hope you both have lovely days.
Hugs to Mumof2 - hope the finger heals quickly, that DD feels better soon, that DH mends his ways and that your DS has a lovely 4th birthday.
Well Moon has gone off shooting (our road is like an ice rink, and he wasn't sure he was going to go, but one of his friends has a 4x4 and has given him a lift, which is good for me, as I was too tired to wrap his presents last night, so can do it today). I also need to change the sheets, make the chestnut pate encroute to freeze for Christmas (debating whether to make individual portions rather than a big one for use over a few days rather than reheating them), and if I have any leftover puff pastry, I'll be making mincemeat puffs (like the supermarkets sell) - also to freeze.
So far this morning, I've washed my hair, eaten breakfast, written a birthday card and a Christmas card, and watched a bit of Kim Woodburn's Rude Awakening and Something for the Weekend.
Just looked out of the window, and we've got snow again - only a light shower, but the young girl over the road is standing there with her tongue out to catch the flakes whilst she waits for her M&D's car to defrost.
Was telling Moon how I'd seen a collie being thrown snowballs yesterday in town and catching them in its mouth. Very cute!
Well I suppose I'd better stop gassing, and get on with something, as some of you are putting me to shame already.
Hugs for anyone I've missed who would like one.

Morning all
Mumof2 - hugs andI hope your day starts getting better
I've decluttered kiddies to their Dad - drove on very icy roads that are a foot deep in snow in places but was very careful and managed it fine, also went to Mum to check on her and later on taking her to the hosp to see Dad and then picking kiddies up. Wouldn't normally drive in this weather but DD is awful if she doesn't see Dad so its worth it to keep her quiet as there's no school tomorrow - she would strop till Tuesday!!
Just wrapping pressies now and waiting for DH to come home - he had to stay at work and had to stay awake all night but he managed to catch up with his NVQ work so he's pleased about that.
Catch you all later - safe travelling vibes to all those out and about
Special hugs for Greenbee, Toots and LL
