Bitsy & Sunny - hope you feel much better soon - look on the bright side you'll be well for Christmas xxx
What is everyone doing up so very early on a Saturday morning? It is the weekend you know! Having said that I to am up due to having shared my duvet since 5am with two little boys. Thankfully they like to be on either side of me, so I am always snuggly in the middle! But DS1 started tapping his fingers / feet on the mattress, so that was my wakeup call. DS2 still in my bed snoring with his father!!! House looks like some nuclear bombs have gone off, but today we're headed off to see MIL for the day. Supposed to be going down for Christmas, but with the forecast I'm not sure we'll get there. Have to see. Will take the opportunity to sort through the presents we've already left with her and give them out as required.
OS will be great as at MILs for lunch and then at a friends for tea!!! Also will be able to empty my freezer a bit as I can take all the little meals I've cooked for MIL to her freezer. Will probably end up cooking shortbread all day for her as I know she has the ingredients, but she can't do it herself. MUST get to the post office this morning as have parcels and letters to post and need to get some photos done of the children that I can send off to relatives stuck to CHristmas cards!!!
Last week of school next week - I know that teachers need a break and need to get organised for Christmas as well, but PLEASE KEEP THE KIDS IN!!!! Just until Christmas Eve - give us parents a christmas present!!! Love and hugs to all those in need and who maybe are not looking forward to christmas. If I knew that we were going to be in our house I'd invite you to come here. xxx
Hester - a bodyguard on the school run - she's VERY brave xxxMe, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.0 -
 so early! Hope all those colds !!!!!! off soon bitsy beans & sunnyday. It's much warmer today, but I'm shivering because I'm tired, not used to 6am :rotfl:
I'm off to work soon, for the benefit of all those crazy people who want to do their christmas shopping before it's even light!
After work I have to help OH pick me a present. He's got a few stocking fillers but wants to look at crafty silver bracelets and petites bracelets but knows I'm quite awkwardPetites come in really small sizes and are discounted from my work, but I don't know if I'd go off the concept? Hmmm

Morning to the early shift.
Thawing in Newcastle so I drove my car for the first time in 14 days, then couldn't get it back in the parking space. All the compacted ice was softening and making life difficult again. Am hoping to get out early this morning and do some 'supplies' shopping.
Halight - I remember that this time last year you had been made redundant and were pretty ill, your signature prompted the flashback, and here you are 10/11 months later enjoying life and your babies.
I hope that NPM and here new husband are cocooned somewhere wonderful.
I shall be at home doing my usual Saturday morning activity of watching Time Team, though by now they are showing some episodes for the umpteenth time and I have some recent ones recorded.
OS - clearing out the debris from the freezer, seems to be a scattering of peas, sweetcorn, onion and crumbs lining a couple of the drawers, and then restocking with bread and milk ready for 'oncoming storm'. (That's cos we watched Dr Who again last night).
Hope the snots go away, stay away or only linger for a short time.0 -

Esmf, it's not an official bodyguard, social services suggested she & her husband took the children to school together til the end of term 'just in case'. Her husband was working so she took a family friend with her, he was injured in Bosnia & has a terrific scar running across his face, so looks very scary.

<budges over so that sistercas can join the sickly bench>
I would dearly love to follow Tru's instructions on watching Christmas24 but I fear kids parties and children in general will revolt again the idea of mummy lounging around.
Oooh H is up and moving. The bed beckons - off to try and nap for a wee bit.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Morning Everyone, think I am on the correct day today:o
Sorry to hear the poorlies, you have my sympathies, but please just keep it, I don't want it.;)
Today woke up at 7am and have done 20 mins on the Wii-Fit, felt I had really put on weight while being stuck indoors, but I had only gone up 2lb which in the % of my weight is not much movement really.:D Will hopefully do something about it this next week, and will really go for it in the NY.
Today maybe a trip to Goole, they have a Boyes I can nose around their haberdashery bit, as we need petrol and white Bread Flour and to honest our nearest cheap petrol garages and Lidl are not much different in mileage to going to Goole and we don't have a Boyes.
This evening going to meet up in Snaith with our friends from Hull, have a meal, and then go and see our carvanning friends at Cliffe, I think a few have managed to get their 'vans out, we maybe could now but certainly not on Thursday, there is still a blanket of snow on the top of it adding weight. Hopefully will manage to get it out for its annual service during the week. The new rally book came yesterday so now busy planning which we fancy and how we fit Spain around them :T:T This prolonged staying put spell has been far too long.:p
Around the above is more turnng LP's into mp3's, didn't realise we had so many. As well as a little more paperwork organising.
((hugs))), Hi-5's. Spoons to all. Take care - DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club
