We always share our clothes out amongst all the cases so if one case goes astray we will all have something to wear. I have to admit I'm lazy and would prefer to put all my stuff in one case and DD in her own etc but my OH always checks that there is a 1/3 in each. Coming home I don't care and we each pack our own case!!

  • If you are going to use flight socks, put them on in the airport toilets where you have more room than on the plane.

For genuine Crocs they are cheaper in Australia according to the Crocs website at $50 works out at nearly £19 so about £10 cheaper although they are great for travelling with as so easy to slip on and off.

I bought a couple of pairs of the Sketchers version in Barratts during their sale and they were down to £7 :)

I would never travel without my crocs. Surely there can't be anything more perfect. I love them!

  • Thanks for all that, i will buy my crocs when i get there- was just thinking that i could wear them on the plane-but if it saves a £10 i will wait!- Might wear my comfy scholl`s- i can always take them off and wear 2 x socks on the plane.

Thinking we will all wear a track suit each with t shirt under- pack t shirt and shorts each, plus undies all round.- Think practical and comfort.

We do have asigned seating-but not in bulk head- leave that for the babies-plus you can`t pull arm rests up in between seats.
We have 3 seats together window, middle asile-then 1 across asie on first fight, then on other 2, 2 infront 2 behind on a 2-4-2 plane.

Lottee are you sure you wish it was you? a 36 hour trip with 2 boys 4 and 7? I just keep telling myself it will be worth it!

The Rohan Goas are out- much too long for my short legs!- Might get the regatta 1`s with zip off`s-they do a short leg, plus a hoody type fleece top.

Where abouts in Oz is it you are going? Spoke to my sis today, and in Adelaide it was 30 degrees in the week. I said it was about that here too, don't think she believed me somehow !

That's a point about the bulkhead seats, forgot you couldn't put the arm rests up.

I'm sure the kids will be fine, hopefully they will sleep for you... once they get over the excitement.
:D I am in the future you know...
...9 hours ahead to be exact !:D
