For any who missed it.
Synopsis is
they base best & worst on things like
life expectancy
crime levels
unemployment
sickness & disability
Thus the orkney islands despite most of them being completely uninhabited was up there as one of the best places to live, a mere 8 hours away from Aberdeen the nearest city. Live anywhere on the scottish mainland and your life expectancy plummets.
Footage showed mini kirsty hanging around broken windows and boarded up houses being "scared". Basically they took 180k and looked around the borough and saw what you could get for 180k. they claimed all you can get is a 1 bed houseboat in tower hamlets. jsut not true. in fact if you look on rightmove today you can see that a 3 bed houseboat on the same moorings is a mere 65k http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-6087697.rsp?pa_n=2&tr_t=buy
180k would get you this
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-8141806.rsp?pa_n=12&tr_t=buy
and its about 2 minutes walk from tower bridge. location location eh?
edit- dont know where that last bit came from- ranting again :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
