Now I'm even more confused.com . Is sky talk and sky line rental 2 totally different things ? Obviously line rental is what it say on the tin .

But sky talk , i can gather that is call cost . What im wondering is how this works if you don't have sky line rental . How do they know what calls are made etc ?

Still no MAC code from AOL

Sky Talk is the call package, not the line rental.
If you have your line rental with BT, you pay them for that and Sky for your calls. They know what calls are made because they carry the service. Millions of subscribers have their line rental with BT and their call package elsewhere.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • I've been pleased with Plusnet.

You can take broadband from them with a BT line and calls (we do).

Their router was the easiest set up I have ever seen in computing.

Perhaps Plusnet rather thsn Sky merit a look,
