You were told in October to look into a HC1 form - did you do it? There is no point asking for help if you are not going to act on it.

How can there be weeks that you can't afford to eat? What exactly are you using your £160 a week to pay?

If you are bankrupt then you should have no debts so should only be paying your living costs and as there are people that are living on far less than £160 you are going to have to look at your budget.

i can get some help with nhs treatment but NOT prescriptions and they are £80+ a month

You were also told to look into a pre-payment certificate which you could pay monthly by direct debit - did you do that either?

Okay so you get IB long term = £91.40 per week
DLA low rate care = £18.95 per week
DLA high rate Mobility = £49.85 per week
    Per week you get £160.20

Does your daughter work or claim benefits? Does your daughter live with you?

Good grief that is nearly £30 more per week than a single pensioner gets.
Look at it another way, if you had to work you would be earning over £10,000pa!!

1000's do it every day and manage!

In fact a single person of working age would be able to manage on £65 pw because that is what his IS payment would be!!!!

Just cut back on your day to day expenses. You can't have any debts as these would have been wiped clean when you went bankrupt, not like the 1,000's that are still struggling to pay everyone with small weekly payments in order to avoid bankruptcy.

STRUGGLE through it like most of us are doing!!

Oh my blood boils when I hear stories like these. Walk away from your debts and then complain that you don't get enough benefit money to be able to live to a certain standard.

I get involved sometimes with people who have a terminal illness. They manage to live on a lot less, but you don't hear them complaining that they would like more. They realise that just living one extra day longer to be with their family is worth more than any amount of money.

That is a ridiculous amount - do you live in England? There is no need for anyone to pay £80 a month for prescriptions. A three month prepayment certificate will cost you £28.25 and a 12 month PPC £104.00. Telephone advice and order line 0845 850 0030 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 0845 850 0030

If your condition has deteriorated and your care needs have increased, you can ask for your DLA award to be looked at again, and possibly increased.

and im due 2 operations early next year 1 for my back condition other a big one.... what will happen then?

Hopefully the operations will improve your condition and you may then be more able to do things for yourself, which in turn might leave your daughter free to work more hours?

I am sorry that you are having difficulty coping, but it does sound like you need to take control of the situation and get help to budget effectively.
