How very dare you, it weren't me. Cept for that bit there and this bit here. Oh and I have an explanation for that incident on the table.

But none of it was my fault.

    Mostly.

    morning everyone

NPM - i hope your parents made it and that you have a wonderful day!

i spent yesterday nursing a poorly ds (yet again!) he saw the dr in the morning who said its just a cough and cold. but his temperature hasnt gone below 38.5. was up to 40 in the night  it came down with calpol and ibuprofen so a trip to the drs is needed again. he's dribbling and doesnt want to eat or drink so i suspect its his throat. have some ice lollies in the freezer for him and a jelly setting in hope of getting some fluid into him. he has woken up really upset saying 'no more' but have no idea what he wants no more of! probably of being ill as the poor thing has been contiuously ill for the past 4 months or so i think! just hope he gets better for xmas :(

yesterday i attempted to clean and tidy but just ended up flitting from one thing to another :o so todays plan is just to concentrate of the kitchen. one corner needs decluttering still. going to have start throwing things out as they just keep ending up there...

foodwise - a sausage casserole is in the oven which the boys will have for lunch and the rest will go in the freezer. about to have rummage to see what left in there for dinner. trying to hold off more shopping as we have a big delievery coming on the 22nd (i think!) trying to use up what is in the cupboards and freezer as we seem to spend a riduclous amount on food :o

had mil over for dinner last night. after she ate her dinner she decided to inform us that she has been ill with a sickness bug  last thing ds needs is to pick that up especially after his tummy has only just settled down since the one he had in september

anyway i've rambled on sorry! :o hope everyone is well and stays warm

Dinner tonight is roast turkey  Turkey I hear you cry  Well we got it for £5 at the freezer shop on Monday and it will stretch for at least six meals by my reckoning :D

    Morning all

NPM, Mr NPM and Noah, I hope you all enjoy the day. All the very best from Pollys house XXX

My dad goes in hospital today for an op, so praying that all goes well.
Think I did a bit too much yesterday as back/leg is aching a bit, nevermind got quite a bit done and it was lovely to have lunch out with DH.
Children all up and dressed, expect DD will be still in bed at uni, she txt us in the evening = think she might have a sore head this morning. Thank you so much for the Birthday Wishes you sent her.

We had some lovely news yesterday DH neice is expecting again, so very excited.

Have a lovely day, whatever your plans.

NPM - hope you have a wonderful day today - we're all thinking of you and sending you our very best! Looking forward to the pics! Very sorrry to hear I missed the hen party -must go and read up about it!
Flurry of activity here as the impending season makes its presence felt - I've been deliberately avoiding it until now! Up early the last few days to get cards written. Trip up to town yesterday to deliver pressies to DGD and her Mum as they are off to Germany for the whole of the school holidays. Needless to say, DS not looking forward to it at all, but at least he will now be working for most of the time - less time to brood and succomb to the really black bouts of depression that are never too far from the surface.
DH has bought two huge dog cushions! The two doggies can really stretch out (they're border collies, so that gives an idea of the size) - but the livingroom is incredibly crowded!! If I'd been with him we'd only have bought the one!
After the fantastic hoar frost of the last couple of days, it seems very green outside today. Hopefully the ground will be hard enough that we won't be bringing great lumps of mud indoors after our walk!
Oh well, must shower and dress.
Once again - all the best NPM, will be thinking of you all day!

    morning!

    NPM - :beer::love: I hope you all have a wonderful day x x x

Pollys - hope your Dad's op goes well x

no hangover here - I was on Schloer:D:A

Today I'm waiting in for the workman to finally fit a new bedroom door - last week he was here at 8am so I've rushed round tidying etc and of course there's no sign of him.
Later I need to collect DS2 from his girlfriends and take him to work.

Am putting a beef stew in the slowcooker for the chaps - quorn sweet and sour from the freezer for me.
Might make some leek and potato soup for lunch if time.

I'm decorating my tree today -:xmastree: its defrosted:D its in a pot so should be ok if I keep it moist. Need a few more decs though so might see what I can get later when I drop DS off.

hope you all have a great day x x
    Do what you love :happyhear
  • Morning All,

NPM Noah and NPDSF I hope you all have a wonderful day filled with laughter happiness and good memories to cherish in the years to come. I had to laugh when I pictured you going into the second room and Noah looking out the window and discovering all those traffic lights :rotfl: I will think of you at 4pm, and I hope those shins recover quickly ;)

Its warmed up a bit up here, but I have also heard we're in for another walloping from the weather so I'll be getting seriously organised today and tomorrow. OH is away to Sainsbugs for myself and our elderly neighbours this morning - she wanted lemons, of all things :D then he has a few hours work YAY!

I am slowly working my way through the mess in the house, the boys' school is still closed as a result of the weather and they are driving me insane, I am going to put them to work this morning tying ribbons onto baubles for my windows. I have a pot of soup to make and washing to do, and I think I'll do some bread scones and flapjacks.

    Have a good day!

Hugs spoons and hi5's from me JackieG! xxx

NPM i hope today's wonderful, and you kick someone's !!!! to go sort that path out ;)

Uh oh, I slept through my alarm and missed my first lecture- this is why I usually set at least two alarms! Having some breakfast and putting some slap on, then I'm off to my next lecture/revision etc! I've got a long slog ahead of me, makes me wish I had a good flask or the canteens would sell boiling water so I can pop a herbal tea bag in it. I just can't bear to buy lunch out, I never do it, I'd rather bring my own or be hungry but get to spend the money on real food.
Dinner is creamy chicken soup with artisan in 5 bread, probably with some sort of salad.
