FYI, I transferred £5K from the Halifax to NatWest on Monday. It didn't clear NatWest until today (Thursday).

That's normal then, is the limit for 2 hour transfers £1k?
I chose todays date but it auto filled in tomorrows because I thought I was doing it late afternoon.

I know £1K transfers from the Halifax are almost instantaneous. Have read differing opinions on whether the limit is £1K or £2.5K.

Transferred £10000 today from Barclays at 9.15 and it showed up in my Northern Rock account 20 minutes later.

My £1 test from earlier this aftyernoon is showing in the NR account as "uncleared transactions".
I would expect this to change tomorrow to "cleared".
First thing tomorrow I`ll try a £10k FP from the Halifax.

You can try, but the F in FP won't mean Fast.

The way I read it, those transfers haven't happened yet, so we won't know until they arrive. Pretty sure Halifax's FP limit is less than £5K. It's either £1K or £2.5K.

I think you are probably right about the £1k limit, the question is how many £1k will they let you do in one day with FP

That's a good question, my 15k transfers will almost certainly take 3 days to clear. I have set up say 6 transfers to the same place to avoid having to use separate days in the past, and they accept those on the same day, but I've never tried multiple 1k FP transfers to the same place.
