I keep losing my..............

Mkay...what the hell do I do! I lost my diary and my funky frog picture....Gah, not happy, but here goes, let's beginneth again...

I'm Elfen, I'm 27 and I'm partway through my second year of my degree. (BA Hons English and Film dontcha know) I live my crazy and boring life in my little flat...well, Kai (boyfriend) will be moving in mid-January....so more craziness shall begin..... I live in Hampshire somewhere, and my life is pretty pants....I'm under a psych for BPD and RDD (Recurrent Depressive Disorder) (she likes to change my pills....and so far it's done buggar all!) which means I can't work nor do as many things as I'd like to (going out, being a general student mess, drinking - not drank since 2008, cinema, gigs) but hoping that Kai (who will also be my carer) can help me get to do a few more things.

OK, after the rush....I have been here before, I think. I have a few plans and schemes but right now mostly essays....4 at last count.....and a few things to get me through...

Here goes New Year Resolutions attempt no. 3

1. Sort out finances - Kai needs to change benefits, we need to wait til they are sorted to sort out LHA etc....all joys! BUUUUUT I've already saved 15 by cancelling stuff not needed (insurance and lowering phone tariff)

2. Stick to the Grocery Challenge - going to attempt this next year, I'd say £150 as a conservative each month

3. At least half of every month is NSD (so between 14-16 depending on number of days) - I'm managing this already, so we'll carry this on

4. Give up smoking - uhoh......but needs to be done

5. Lose weight - yup yup, been a bad girl...probably over 12st and need to drop at least 30lbs....

6. Exercising again - yup yup and here. I want to do another 5k next year so better get bum in shape soon

7. Read all the books I haven't read yet - I'll make a list and work my way through...same with the DVDs

8. Get rid of some of the books I have and don't want any more (chazza or Cex) - After I've read 1/4 of the ones I haven't read (tres complicated) I'll go through and sell ones I don't want

9. Make sure I have savings for all of the year - I'll be putting it away when I geti t and putting more in when I can. I want to be in the black for half the year at least!

10. BUDGET BUDGET BUDGET! - Oh yes! Budgets for everything! From shoes to shampoo.

Oh, and the extra is save all the survey vouchers/points to buy pressies with (or give them as presents which might be easier....)

And the whirlwind stops....but I still need to do stuff this week, which is....

Research essays
Read stuff for essay....gemeinschaft and gesellschaft...yawn!
Finish lectures/readings for uni this week
Tidy and sort out front room
Tidy and sort out kitchen
Tidy and sort out bathroom
Sort clothes
Sort books
Sort DVDs
Sell any extras I deign I don't need anymore....

Not been here for a while....with Christmas and essays and research and all I seem to be neglecting other things.

Well, new start, new year. And so far it's going OK, I have resisted the urge to eat anything not on my healthy eating plan, haven't gone out to the shops to buy tat (NSD no 1 will be mine today :D ) and I've cleaned the flat from top to bottom and sorted out Kai's stuff, which didn't take long, it's just we need another bookcase for his stuff too....and then mine gets a better home...and isn't so crushed in....damn my JH degree and my love of films and books!

So, my continuing to-do list for today is:
    Research for English essay
    Lunch - tomato soup
    Don't eat any crap
Make dinner - chicken, sweetcorn and rice
Prep slow cooker for tomorrow....going to be making my first soup...nom nom nom nom nom
    Take down Xmas decs

My other little thing is, if I feel hungry or I want junk, I'm going to do either 20 star jumps/press ups/sit ups and see if it helps....Also need to put c25k back on the MP3 player so I can go running tomorrow.

Went for a walk with Kai and did 8130 steps. Going to aim to do about 10k steps a day, but I think we both made up for it as we both were cleaning today (him hs old flat so its ready for viewing and such, and me our flat)

    Exercise: 10k I think.
Added another 4k onto yesterday's too, so looking good all round.

Student loan/grant is in....so over half after O/D was cleared is in savings with the odd £60 in another so I can start proper savings. Bought a few bits (Jack bag - Nightmare Before Christmas, Jimi Hendrix tee for Kai, 3 books, 5 DVDs, bookcase, overdoor coat hooks, foody bits, stuff for DVD night - more on this one) and put 25 on the leccy and put 15 on my water card. Also went to my ink place (through Quidco AND a voucher) and got 2 big ink cartridges for £30 - don't make compatibles yet as far as I know.

DVD night has been added to the budget - £10 over the month for the Tuesday night we stay in and watch DVD's. Will need to go to bank tomorrow and get money out for swimming but I need ot learn how to and Kai said he'll teach me, so that's a bonus! Didn't jog or shred as been feeling crappy, but will be back on it in the morning.

    Food diary
    B - none
L - chicken with rice noodles
Snacks - popcorn and nuts - so not too bad
D - pork chops with sweetcorn

DVD night food - bag of Sensations

Had a bad night last night and ate 3 bags of popcorn, a bowl of sweetcorn, a bag of jelly babies, a Toffee Crisp and half a bag of nuts (and two bags of cheesy crisps(. Really need to get it under control now, I can't keep doing it and hopefully DVD night will help.
