Lightbulb Moment: Mini one in Dec 2010 when started DMP Real one in May 2011 when did SOA, rediscovered MSE and found money for huge payments
Debts at highest: £15k plus, however paid a lot off with sale of flat in March 2010. DMP £4k plus
Debt Free Date: December 2011 (last payment made to CCCS 1 Dec, CCCS paid creditors 14 Dec, confirmed with all creditors 29 Dec that all accounts cleared and closed)
One Pearl of Wisdon: Spreadsheets, spreadsheets, spreadsheets. Keep track of EVERYTHING. Also, use the envelope method and live off cash. Easier to keep track. Record everything. Only buy what you need or can afford. Check bank accounts. Basically, become OCD like me!!!
Thanks so much Martin and all the wonderful MSE forumites, you are gems
