I counted up my change jar today and there was over £80 in there!! Am very pleased and will bank £80 tomorrow plus my £5 reward so it continues to dribble in
Oooh! That's awesome. How big is your change jar? Must be massive.
Is it just me or does anybody else get worried when taking money to the bank? Like your savings that you've saved, be it £50, £80, £150... I always worry that because I do it quite often (I collect fivers and then pay them in), I worry that the tax man will knock at my door one day and ask me about them. Is that just me?0 -
Thanks Fredula! I've got 2 on the go and i'm really pleased as it's only been on the go for a couple of months but I was being very generous to the jar a few weeks ago but it was a lovely surprise.
I don't worry about the tax man asking me about my spare change - I work full time and they take more than enough from me to worry about my coppers!!!MFW 2012 #70- 1996.98/100000 -
I always feel like I'm doing something wrong if I pay more than £30 cash into my bank0

Hi everyone, haven't had chance to come on for a couple of weeks. Its been so hectic with my daughter finishing Primary School, so many events.....Summer Concert.....Y6 Play.....Y6 leaving Assembly and I had an essay to finish for the OU.
A new blog is live on Nectar if you would all be so kind as to give it a hit for me. The competition finishes at the end of the month so not long now. We were in the local paper a couple of weeks ago for it which my daughter thought was hilarious. I didn't as they mentioned my age

I had a free bet at the races through Paddy Power back in March and I had a winner. What I didn't realise was that I must have done it through TopCashBack so have also got cashback ! I will add to my total when it arrives.
I'm still selling on Ebay but the buyers are making things really hard. I have 5 counts now of "Item not as described" yet all I put is the make/brand, size and colour. How wrong can you go. I just wish the buyers would contact me if they aren't happy.0 -

Got a few more clients booked in too which is a bonus.0 -

chelt i would also consider bigging up sainsburys a bit more ,fruit from discounted section and there price promise on your 5 a day you could claim to be on a diet and how the market is good for fruit however not open every day so better access .
also triple points boost so used nectar points for school items which you guessed it on special at the minute .
bbq stuff reduced chairs ect what a bargain sainsburys rule in the bury household something like that hope this helps might be crap though lolSo finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x0 -
Hello, me back again briefly.lol.
Seems DH is doing the most towards this challenge for us as he has just agreed to running a group at a local community music centre which will bring us £50 a week during term times (before tax etc). Me, I've just sold a book on amazon for £5 haha. Not sure any of it counts as moneymaking as we have been spending more on our diets:D but Dh has lost just under 3 stone and I have lost exactly 2. Yay!!
Seems like everyone on here is doing well at keeping going :T
I've not been so good at that this year or at keeping in touch - will probably be 2012 before I post again at this rate but thought I'd pop on and say hello
