challenge Make £11,000 in 2011 The Dribblers Advance

Ok iv not got excel downloaded for free and can get the spreadsheet open...but only in read only...i remember from school roughly how to untick the read only box, il have a look about and see if i can find it!
I have decided everything i get for overtime i will be putting in this challenge...Away to empty my account so all i have to do to know exactly how im doing in this challenge is to get a bank statement!! So far the way im getting to £12,000 is ...
1 - All monies from working over 39 hours a week(time and a half) goes straight into this on payday and i will survive on the remaining...
2- Sell my "winter" car end of Febuary/start of March and put the money towards this
3- I have a sealed saving pot that currently has probably just over £100 in it..that will be going in here
4- Any homers i can get(away to do a double garage soon) the monies will go straight into this account
5- Any other ways i think of along the way i will work at to try and top this up....
Just from that first 4 - £3,867.84 + £700 + £300 + £3,000 = £7,867.84 in total....the first total will be higher than that as all that i have counted there is the over time i get for working a Friday, i will work Saturdays aswel which could add another £2,000 + just from working 2 Saturdays a month...
So thats the total upto about £10k....
with my payrise this summer the money i bring in from overtime will be going up a fair bit and also my basic wage will have gone up so things will be alot easier.
I get 3 weeks off in the summer so im thinking if i work for one of them then should get about £550 from that ontop of holiday pay...so that would be a good earner and i would still have 2 weeks off!
So many ideas and stratagys, i just need action now!!Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

Well i have a trade. So doing a homer for that is doing it for someone outside of my Monday-Friday job. A little side earner.
For this spreadsheet, i take it i do the budget now and enter my balance now? But then where do i enter what i am actually spending? In the Transactions?Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

Ooh exciting stuff, challenge starts soon.
I'm meant to be working tonight with double time after 12 but I've got the horrid flu type thing so I've had to call in. Oh well, and no doubt ill get a rollocking but meh, no point in worrying just now.
I'm mainly going to try and reduce my outgoings and basically whack a whole load of my wages into another account (once the bills are paid obv) Thinking of opening a credit union account (discovered that they offer mortgages too)
I want to try MB, but I think I need someone to hold my hand the first couple of times.
I'll try eBaying stuff too. Surveys and such. I wanta money neutral Christnas (wishful thinking!!)
Car loan is fully paid on 31st August so thats an extra £165 pcm.
Oh's loans repaid in full on 15th June so another £136 free a month
Really going to try this year!0 -
Just did my budget! According to my budget i will manage just fine and i didnt even enter in the sale of my winter car so looks like this could be a really good year for me! So long as i stick to this budget!!!Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.
