oh another idea for anyone talented enough. Is making memory bears... People send you old baby gros in etc and you make a bear. Lady doing it on face book charging £15 per pair and she has a 3 month waiting list. Not sure if anyone crafty on here, but though worth mentioning it if useful for anyone

afternoon all, another £80 in the pot today that was left over from last months wage and hopefully theres some in the english account that i can use to start mach betting with. Just need to get the other half to ring up the bank and see whats left before payday there. Im very happy though as my total is now £944.50 so very close to the £1000 mark. Will hopefully be getting £50 for our sofa on tuesday and if theres anything left in the uk account it will push us over that target.
Hope everyones having a good day and got a good weekend planned, Im going to be listing on ebay and unpacking the rest of our boxes.back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed :beer:0 -
I've never sold on Ebay and was just wondering, with the free weekend listings, if I add things to be sold and they don't sell, will I get charged a closing fee or anything? Or will it just be completely free?0

Hi, as long as you put it on auction format, if they don't sell you won't get charged. 99p starts you don't get charged for any time but on free listing days any start prices are freeMake £10 a day Dec 2016 £130.52/£310

Adding on another £400 from Oh's O/time. It was £540 gross so I think that's about right for net. That puts "me" to £877 so far for the year. Bit cheeky maybe including OH's OT in my calculation but it all goes into the same bank account.
Just taken £5 at the door from an e-bay collector but not going to include that as I said that my DD could have it as it was her toy that sold.Grocery aim £450pm.Spent £519 August, £584 July, £544 June, £541 May, £549 April, £517 March, £517 Feb,£555 Jan, £573 Dec, £465Nov, £561Oct, £493Sept, £426Aug,£496 Jul, £528Jun, £506May,£498April, £558 March, £500Feb, £500 Jan, £490 Dec, £555 Nov,£566 Oct, £505Sept, £450Aug, £410 July, £437 June, £491 May, £471 April, £440 March, £552Feb, £462Jan0 -

Hi Melanie
I'm fairly new to this as well but from what I understand it is up to you what you include as it is your personal challenge but generally I would say that your normal wages wouldn't count but any overtime that you may get can, plus any money from ebay sales, mystery shopping, survey sites, bingo or lottery wins, savings or coupons made or used for grocery shopping, in fact anything that you get that is extra to your normal salary I think. Everyone else may do it a little differently, e.g some people but not me include the two months "free" that you get with your community charge payments but its up to you really.

I have never even so much as bought a lottery ticket before , so trying to get my head round gambling odds and all the things to watch out for was quite a challenge ! I have exhausted the "easy" bets where its "deposit x and place bet and we give you x free" with no wager requirements. It seems the larger bonuses are only available if you bet through your original stake x times or more . Quite frankly I know its free money and I could probably get my head round it if I had more time , but it seems like a lot of work (time) to gain a few quid . Also because I don't fully understand that bet through x times and stand on your head in a tray of treacle to get the bonus thing , i figure the risk of losing what I made so far (fairly easily) is too great ! If you are able to spend a lot of time actually getting to grips with all the finer points of arb, spread betting and wager requirements , not to mention trawling through pages of odds matching and finding the best odds , and having enough float to take the risk on the more complicated stuff , then I dare say it could be quite lucrative. That said though , it seems from looking through some of the posts in the gambling threads , that it is getting harder for people to make the larger sums , or regular incomes that used to be claimed by some a few years ago .
Personally I enjoyed my "dabble" with it and I started it with some cashback (£45) , to see if I could make my money grow . I have made a touch over £160 in profit in a little over a month , so it was better than a savings account/isa/premium bonds :j. there is of course also the added risk of being "gubbed"
good luck
If you just use all the free bets without matching you should by chance end in profit, but if you are unlucky you could lose this way.
If you want to match your bets ask for a spreadsheet table to use. Mistakes can be expensive. It was all worth about a thousand quid excluding the Yank bets.0
