  • Cheers Pharmer. Wish I'd have known about this site when I was a student!

Found my old phone is worth £47 on envirophone so really chuffed about that! Other than that very little to report. Up to £1.65 on free bingo - I find it so tedious that I doubt I will continue after I reach a withdrawable amount.

Finding Toluna is becoming quite boring as well although I only have around 30,000(!) points left to get to a £15 Amazon voucher. About 1/3 of the way to a £5 Amazon voucher on Swagbucks too. :)

I am currently free bingoing, but havent won anything yet lol

Really a bit stuck for ideas at the mo other than ebay, I don't really want to have to outlay to get a profit as that may not necesarily pay off.

I did a couple of surveys today and am creeping towards the payout for a couple of sites. Other than that, nada.

DS has asked me to get his Xbox online so I will get cashback and points on the cc so that will get added on when that tracks.

Need to try to get a regular extra income if possible. It sucks that we can't get OT at work at the mo.

Oh well, hopefully more of an update for you tomorrow!

Well I now have 20 watchers on 2 items and still nearly 6 days to run - woohoo. :j

I have an old pair of mark 3 GHDs that I could probably sell on eBay, spares or repairs. Seen them go for £15 odd which isn't too bad.

Still playing free bingo. Contemplation MB but need to wait till payday :(.

    Hi all
in an effort to kickstart my £11k, I'm thinking of getting into selling seriously. I have an industrial outlet shop near me (well about 12 miles away) and I could buy from them and sell, quite well, I think. trouble is, I would have to pick up the goods in my car - no problem there EXCEPT - I seem to remember reading somewhere when insuring my car that it was for "domestic and pleasure and commuting to work" - do I need to inform my insurance company if I do this and is it likely to make my car insurance more costly?
    Anyone know?
    Thanks in advance!

I have business insurance on my car - have had business on for over 9years now and it never costs me more than just domestic and commuting would have as i always check- its worth having it on there just to cover yourself
Frugal living challenge - need to revisit its been.a while !! Need to reduce our debts!!

Quidco's been getting a pretty bad reputation over in the thread in referrals re.not paying out cashback

Merry Christmas to you too Lynsey. Never had a false decline in four years, but with the DGM loss for about 10,000 plus of the members and other items taking forever to pay out recently, not everything at Quidco is as rosy as in the past.

I've stopped using them, decided to mostly use one site & just stick to topcachback - everything I earned on quidco just got eaten up by their £5 fees.

Woop woop. My old (broken) Sony Ericcson W995 is apparently worth £30. Excellent.
  • Hi All,

Hope everyone is getting on ok?

I'm slowly running out of stock to sell on eBay - but if I'm honest, I'm more pleased that the house is getting rid of all the stuff we haven't used in ages! Apart from selling we did a bit of a spring clean and last week to two car loads to the tip! :D

The thing that has annoyed me today is that I've sold loads in the past few weeks and I've started to get some NPB and it's really annoying! I had one today saying that she thought my item was something else and said 'I don't want it anymore'

Not a lot to report today.

Won £5.10 on the free bingo (Sing Bingo), not the same one that I have £23.22 on (City Bingo) but still a total of £28.32 to date, and will be doing both sites to see if I can get to £30 and withdraw!

Did a quick survey for 50pts and sold 1 ebay item for 99p & postage so will add that when I have worked out postage & fees.

  • Hi all

Im new to the forum, have joined a few of the challenges and really enyoing it so far :D the motivation of knowing everyone else is doing the same really helps!

Have been reading this thread for a few days and dont quite have the guts to commit but may set myself a personal challange not quite at the dizzy heights of £11k! :o
Been reading through the thread and obviously ebay and mobile trade in's etc are big priorities at the moment but what happens when the supply of clutter in the house run out?! £11k is a steep target and i know personally im struggling to think of where i'd go next after the de-cluttering is finished....

  • Hey all, feeling like I am doing OK here! Done some overtime to be paid next month so all good there. Won some more on free bingo, waiting for games to finish and then will request withdrawl - love free money!

However, I would like to thank you all, - I always get involved in stuff but quit after a while but this has grabbed me - how amazing would £11K be!?!?! Thank you and keep it up :)

Edit - just checked, need £916 to be up to date at the end of the month... unlikely!
