Well I am no longer a mystery shopping virgin.lol.
It went ok but I did feel a bit guilty afterwards. took quite a while to fill out report on computer but maybe cos its new to me.
I'm approaching £200 and really happy with that. Think I will be due some tax back and trying to decide if its worth pursuing a claim for PPI that I don't think I agreed to on my credit card. I cancelled the PPI a few months ago but not sure whether to try and reclaim.

  • Well I listed my boyfriend - he didn't make the 99p reserve - shame, I need all the money I can get :P

I'm listing anything and everything on eBay - I can't believe I had all this stuff sitting here when it could have paid off some debts ages ago! Also if anyone has any old college/university books - get them listed on Amazon. I sold one on Friday for £37! I'm pretty sure I only paid £39 4 years ago!

Hope everyone else is doing well

evening folks, glad to see everyone doing so well. Have started Bingo Britain - like the thought of buying the tickets the logging off - find it a bit tedious sitting watching the games! not much else doing just now, have managed to save about £2k - have wanted a new kitchen for ages but got new doors from B&Q sale instead and managed to get the whole lot inc fancy handles for less than £150!!!! and it looks fantastic, o/h is a bit useless at DIY but i just kept reminding him how much i'd saved him lol! so think i will put the old door handles etc on ebay at some point, dont think the doors would sell but may try them at a boot sale - what do you think elly? also got a load of swimwear for a £1 each so that'll go on ebay nearer the summer. cant decide whether to go for the census vacancies.

Haven't posted on here for a while now but I'm back now! The few things that I posted on ebay all sold :j So I made £20 from things that I would have thrown away anyway. I am going to go through the house again tomorrow and see if I can find anything else to put on.

I doubt that I would ever be able to make £11k but I just want to raise enough to buy a decent second hand car for my daughter and I as I am starting my driving lessons this week!

Just saved myself £52 by walking away from an eBay bidding war. Fell in love with the patchwork cars collection from next which is no longer available so when I seen the stuff on eBay I thought I would bid on it.

Anyhoo, prices were going crazy high and TBH I suspected shill bidding. So I retracted my bids and walked away. Bit gutted 'cos I know my LO would have loved it but I might just save up and buy him the little diggers stuff from Next (expensive  but so cute)

Its hard not to get carried away when your bidding on things isn't it?

I've used to be really good and put in my maximum bid then log out. Now I like to watch the last few minutes of the auction and that can prove disasterous!

My main problem is that I would spend a fortune on my LO and I convince myself that because its for him its fine. Thats the main reason he ended up with a 6v Thomas the Tank ride on for Christmas. In my defence tho, it was in excellent condition and I got it for a 1/3 of the RRP. And he absolutley loves it!

I just need a lotto win and it will all be fan dabby dozey.

    Anyway ...

Going to attempt to back my OH's birthday cake tomorrow. Something like this (but not as good :rotfl:)

Also going to make choccie cupcakes with a rockyroad topping.

Skint - if your around, how much skill would you say is required for the cake? I've been told to buy chocolate royal icing fromSainsburys. :rotfl:

That cake looks lovely! I do the same, my little girl gets far too much stuff but I justify it by never really paying full price for things!
