£20 sale on Ebay, so I have added that to my total. Spent the weekend listing on Ebay, mostly stuff of little value so not expecting much. Just off to work and expecting to get my redundancy notice today, so even more important that I make as much money as I can. Need to get my thinking cap on. Hope everyone has a good day.

  • Hello All

Very longtime lurker on the boards, joined in with the 10k challenge last year but gave up after about £600! Anyway back on it this year, we have moved house and are doing extensions so need as much money as possible.

Just a quick question for all you intelligent ppl out there! Ive bought from brand new Next Womens tops, they are nice and hopefully will be popular on ebay, might even keep one for myself! They cost me about £9 and were £35 in shops, how much would you put them on for? Was thinking starting price of £14.99, or should I do buy it now or put a higher starting price, maybe £19.99, not sure if this is too much? Obviously want to make as much as possible but also want to get them sold!:)

    Thanks Guys.

Wow James thats dedication towards saving! have to admit though my OH sounds similar to you (22, likes rugby and xboxes..) and he's done stuff like that before to help me out and to save some, he's actually pretty good at hair curling and nail painting but I don't think he would share those facts online! (woops!)
I'm feeling positive today. Going to get a few things sorted hopefully and although it's still groundwork, I'm starting (thanks to all you lovely people!) to actually believe that it will pay off in the long-run and it is worth doing. If only I could find something to review though!!! :(

All that stuff is my guilty pleasure! Haha I love being good at things like that as the women love it ;) haha!

well listed a bunch of stuff yesterday sales of £1.98 already a few watchers but the listings dont end til next sunday

today will send off 2 expense claim forms and tomorrow a grant form which should bring in a total of £445!

these are for ds golf however it is the first time i have been able to claim anything back for it! so am adding it especially as the point of the challenge is to support ds in his golf and also get my house done its in bad need of everything including decluttering and needs some money spending on it cos we have funded ds golf rather than spend on the house

    keep going all

james ...i will send my dd's round for their nails!!
i have converted one into the mse way.....she stills spends too much on clothes and pizza but at least goes through quidco now!

  • hello! hope everyone is ok! I had a chat with OH this morning about car boots, etc and how to get some extra £££'s and mentioned that sainsburys have their crimbo selection boxes at 89p so he told me to get £10 worth to split up and sell. Went in today and they were reduced to 10p each! So ive got a hallway full of boxes-55 to be exact  - ready to split up for sunday :rotfl:i think its going to have to go through the books but i should still make a nice profit out of that.

    My missions for today are:

    • free cashback - see how long it takes and if its worth it
    • find more car boot stuff - not impossible as we downsized last year!
    • book bank shifts for the week
    • find more dvds and cds to sell on
catch up with you all later! :)
    ;)
  • Morning and happy monday everyone
Feeling really happy to day got a bit of design work done over the weekend that I was happy about - just going to power through what I have left today and get all the stuff over to the printer to be photographed.

Made £5 (my mate owed me so that has gone in the pot), and bless the husband has made a chart so we can start meal planning. Even though he is not registered I think he is inspired by how well I have done by becoming a dribblerv:)

Going to crack on with my to-do list - my useful link for today is:
Read it Swap it it is not so much a money maker as it is a money saver and you can use your old books as currency for getting new ones. Great way of getting books without spending any money!

See you all later and have a money making day!

    Hi to all!

Good day so far, got a bid on one of my ebay items, £3.99 with 6 days to go:j

I love costa bingo I have just withdrawn another £35, had to deposit £10 to get over the limit but have now made £50 profit from them, will add to my total when it hits my account. Still have £15 in bonuses to play with (PM me your email address if you want me to refer you to costa bingo or city bingo):j

My daughter also joined costa bingo and has just made her first withdrawal as well, most of the money she made and some of what I made was from the First Time Depositor bingo, when you make your first deposit you get access to free games for 24 hours (its open from 10am - 10 pm and there are games every 15 mins) and the jackpot is £20 (4/6/10) and there was only around 25-30 people playing and you get 96 cards!.

I am now playing in the re-deposit room which is also free and you get access for 24 hours (11am - 11pm with games every 30 mins) and a jackpot of £15 although there are more players in there!

Good to see everyone is still positive and making money:T

    Making small changes everyday....
  • As a Newbie to the challenge, let me tell you my first day has been good so far!

I have sold yet another item on Ebay ( a fridge we never use) for £40 and, instead of driving to the shop I decided to walk the mile leaving the car on the driveway ( I walked to Netto and NOT Asda :-))..any way, on my way, saving all that petrol as I went, I found £1 on the floor..yes a whole pound!!!...and then, on my way back I found 2p!!!..so thats £1.02 I don't have to earn and I saved my petrol!!..great fun this saving money lark!!

Off to rummage through the loft for more ebay sales.

    Keep you posted.
