I hope they come on soon, I miss them lots too. Elle popped on but only briefly, (great to hear you're ok though elle) x
COME BACK everyone else!!!
The Ville is quiet too! x
I'm here, I'm here!!! Panic over.....
I did try to catch up but you lot dribble as much as the originals!..... anything vitally important that I have missed out on??
Right for all you newbie's I'd best introduce myself.
I am Mambury, set up a business last year due to the 2010 thread and then decided that what I really needed was human contact (I live in the middle of nowhere, Mabel will vouch for that!!) so ditched the ebay business as I learned that I took on too much and ended up with depression again from not seeing people (coming out of it with stock to sell on and a small profit) and found a 'proper' part time job working in a shop at the weekends, and yes dribblers, its still going okay!! I haven't been on this thread before as I have been mega busy with work, kids, life, house, crhistmas etc etc etc......
But now I am back with a vengance .... so watch out!!LOL!
Right to put you in the picture so far I have managed a little overtime at work (I need to add up the total) BUT OH didn't work for two weeks in December due to the snow and christmas so we are SKINT, I need to buy a car as OH needs mine for work (works van no longer free) and the lovely tax man has sent OH a bill for £1800 as they c0cked up with tax code for two years..... So unfortunatly the mortgage will not be paid this month but hope that we can clear about 1/2 this month and the other half next month so no major arrears.
As far as my money making plans???? No idea as yet, other than a few extra hours here and there at work and ebay.....
I do know that I don't want to put too much pressure on myself this year like I did last and I would like all of you, (new and old) to remind me of that
I do want to make more stuff, and become craftier and maybe make some money that way ( but the money will be a bonus, not the reason for making)
So my personal mini challenge for this week is to formulate a plan of types and plan the veggie patch for summer. I won;t be able to sell on any excess plants (well, I might....) as I work both sat and sun (book a days holiday maybe??)
Have I missed ant good free bingo/or some such sites??
Might have a look at matched betting, Betmunch - can you pm me a link to your site please??
A big welcome to the newbies and heres to another good year......

hello all
Went on a local night out last night (somewhat of a rare thing nowadays!) with a few drinks at mine before with a couple of friends (free as had some birthday and christmas drinks left over) went to the local pub which also own a local club for last orders and cheekily asked if we could get a stamp for free admission which we got saving £4 (if you dont ask you dont get ) so had a good time in the club for a few hours before a 3 min walk home so no taxi fares either.....checked my money this morning and I think I must have been given change of a £20 whilst paying with a tenner as have £14 left out of £20 and bought at least 3 drinks!!? :j
Was at a friends for lunch and stopped at the coop on the way home just before it closed for something for dinner tonight and a couple of other bits....was next in the queue at the till when I realised my purse was still in my 'going out bag' so had to go around putting everything in my basket back...how embarrassing! haha still saved me a few more pounds as did something out of the freezer for dinner instead and have used the remainder of the milk more wisely to ensure it lasts until tommorow, the rest of the unbought coop things were not really needed things either so I must remember to forget my purse more often :rotfl:
Ebay another £28.35 in the pot and one of the girls who had a drink here last night has just popped round with a bottle of wine and a bottle of archers insisting I have them to replace what was drunk (this is far more than was actually drank for the record!) :rotfl:but she insisted so theres another night sorted in the future too. I hope everyone had a nice weekend and heres to a new money making week £264.05 / £11,000 in 2011 :j

Bloomin eck, i've got a lot to catch up on!! I've been mega busy this weekend and will be busy tomorrow and Tuesday as well cause i've got people coming over.
I'll keep this brief and then try to catch up with the thread when i've got time to sit with a cuppa for an hour (or two!)
Days 7, 8 & 9
Friday i added some more listings to my turbo lister. Since i list everything at 99p and self host my pictures i figured there was no point in using the free listing days.
Saturday i saved £1.20 by doing a cloth nappy wash.
Today a few ebay listings ended and my profits will be about £40 by the time ebay and paypal have nicked their share.
I'll update my total when i have the actual funds transferred from paypal and added to my savings. I already did a transfer request the other day from some other things i sold, so i'm waiting for £75 to come across.
I've decided to immediately transfer money into our savings when DH gets paid instead of seeing what's left over. I have a spreadsheet where i keep track of all incomings and outgoings with the budgets we need for bills, food, car, kids etc on there. I'll tot all that up and then whatever comes in over and above (if anything) i'll transfer right away so we won't end up spending it.Sarah.
