So far managed to do not a lot!!! Need to balance my spare time between reading this thread & actually doing something. Still only on page 42....
The one thing that I had never realised before is being able to get cashback on things where you are not spending money, sometimes even getting money. It never occurred to me to register with survey sites through a cashback site and I have just found that selling my old mobile by going to topcashback to get to fonebank will also give me even more money!!

Learning lots and getting ready to put into practice.

Urgh, I feel ill this morning :(. Maybe its a good thing that I'm only working 3 hours tonight and 8 hours tomorrow.

I will list some stuff on eBay on Saturday night and let it run to the following Saturday (mainly MAC make-up)

I have a complimentary make up session at a make up counter (because I complained) so if I take up that offer I will put the money it would have cost into my savings. TBH I am a bit unsure about taking up this offer, a bit like complaining in a restauraunt kind of thing =S.

Oh and my piggy bank has been dispatched. That means my sealed pot/pig will start soon!

Ok - so week one of the challenge nearly over and I'm delighted with progress to date!

    So far achieved £309.53 by:
    *Switching buildings and contents insurance
    *Selling a mobile on TopDollarMobile
*Changing some old foreign currency I'd forgotten about
*Switching to a new energy supplier

I've also done some mystery shops, posted off another old mobile and am expecting some TopCashBack money soon! I've posted my first six reviews on Dooyoo but can see that will be slooooow progress to a payout. Next up is some eBaying, more mystery shops and racking my brains for more ideas!

    Well done so far everyone!

Yes me too! I find all these posts so interesting to read but I still haven't got round to going on e-bay & try & work out what to do to sell any of my things on! I have however charged the camera ready for photo taking & verified the paypal account that I set up the other day.

As a complete e-bay / amazon etc virgin I think £11k will be way, way more than I could hope to make but would still like to join in if I can & will at least plod on with my surveys etc!

I can start with £60 that OH won at work yesterday on getting the bonus ball after two weeks of no-one winning. I also have enough on My Survey to cash in for £5 if I wanted to plus about £7 on One-Poll (but need to get to £40!) & £7 on Valued Opinions. Only need to get to £10 on Valued Opinions but I think they only pay in vouchers for various places rather than cash so could I still include that when I reach it?

Also can you include shopping conditional spend vouchers like £5 off when you spend £30 at Lidl?

yes I include vouchers from papers/surveys , anything that saves me spending my own money.

my daughter came home from school yesturday and won a competition on writing a poem
she got family tickets to paultons park ! which is fab cos its her birthday next month and thats where we are going ,lol. So do I count this ? I originally said I would take her the pictures and pizza hut with her two best friends , so this will save me at least £20 cinema tickets - but I will buy them food at paultons park.

I have done all my ebay photos, so can I put them on now to start tomorrow does anyone know?
    Kindness costs nothing :)

Just requested £10 from littlewoods bingo (didnt realise I still had money in there) so will count that when it hits my bank account! Although after the hassle ive just had to try and change the card they have on file, I think it'll take a while for me to get it!!
Got masses of stuff to put on ebay this weekend after a huge clear out so fingers crossed I will have a lot to add to my total soon! :j
Time to get things sorted once and for all......

Batoutofhell - It can feel overwhelming. here are a few tips. 2 actions to commit to do before the weekend finishes
1 -If you have lots of ideas get a biggish notebook or make one out of a few pieces of a4 tied together with cardboard as the cover pieces.
write each of your ideas(projects) on a double page spread.
Then whenever you think of something for any of your project ideas just open the book and note it down. you don't have to act on it but it means you don't have to worry about forgetting it either.

2 - Next flick through the book and select the project idea that seems easiest/most fun and think of the smallest least scary action you could take towards doing it and take that action.

Don't worry about finishing just keep starting.
perhaps commit to 2 lots of 15 minutes a day and see what useful actions you can take in those blocks of 15 minutes.
    hope that helps
