Ops posted in the wrong bit. Think this is the place.
Can I join & actually try & do it this year? I joined last year but didn't keep up although I stopped smoking which saved loads of money & got myself an occasional caretaking job - so in a way I did.
This time I must keep up & try ebaying my clutter to start off - have never ebayed before & need this group as incentive, kicks up the behind.0 -
good afternoon everyone ;-)
i think im gona join too if theres room for a little one lol!!
i have 101 thing i need money for, to start with theres [STRIKE] my [/STRIKE] our wedding, oh's 30th birthday (few years away yet but wnt to surprise him with a trip to vegas  ) plus £6k of card & credit union debt!
i will ebay, use quidco, save my £2 coins in a sealed tin, and might even try matched betting
i work full time so doubt i will get anywhere near £11k but as ive just had my hours cut, i might use my wages from my second job to put away - well any left over once the bills have been paid!!
good luck everyone :j0 -

I'd love to join a thing like this but £11,000 won't be possible for me, as I graduated in July and haven't managed to find a 'proper' job yet
gutted! I'll have to set myself a little target and see if I can get there via ebay & other random ways!

alma you will be surprised what is possible and how quickly it can add up!
I am trying to see if I can managed the double up way of making a dent into the challenge' love the theory but struggling with ideas!!
Month 1: £10 double it =£20
Month 2: £20 double it =£40
month 3: £40 double it = £80
month 4 £80 double it = £160
month 5 £160 double it = £320
month 6 £320 double it =£640
month 7 £640 double it = £1280
month 8 £1280 double it = £2560
month 9 £2560 double it = £5120
month 10 £5120 double it = £10240
month 11 ....well you get the idea!!
Jo, somehow I missed this theory last year, or maybe I wasn't in the right place to appreciate it!! Either way sorry for repeating you I a just intrigued if I could do anything remotely like this....like most things it sounds so easy in theory!!
loving how many people want to join in this challenge. I joined last year and have never regretted it..... I have met some wonderful people, had support and understanding and never felt judged. It is a friendly forum and my finances might not be £10 k healthier but def. Better off by a few k and I have learnt so much and tried new things along the way too .....
Life is a work in progress0 -
Looking forward to getting this started. I started trying to make extra income in August this year, as you can see in my sig, and made a decent little bit to help towards xmas without taking it too seriously so am igtrigued into how far I can go if I put the effort it.
11k on top of my wages wont be reached by me unless I win one of the countless competitons I enter hee hee. £30 a day that would equate to and by gum thats tough. Still gonna be fun doing this and I hope to meet some new people and also be introduced to new ways of making some wonga0
