  • i used to share an office with people who insisted on radio 2, drove me up the wall. mind you so does any local radio, radio 1, classic fm....

I can tolerate radio 2, radio 6music and bbc 7. No one one else anywhere i've worked liked those at all!

So what do they do if they are alone in the office, and the fire alarm [which they can't hear] sounds?
If they don't hear it then they don't hear it and it's nothing to do with PRS.
Having said that any decent fire alarm is loud enough to blast past a set of headphones. You can still hear ours with headphones and ear defenders on!
Also if they are a lone worker in the office they can listen to the radio over speakers without needing a PRS license.
