So my turn to bring in the office Friday treats...cue the market outside work - pack of hobnons for 50p! Yay! ALso found can of coke for 40p and lots of cheap chocolate! £1.50 spent in total!
Went to Boots yesterday as we needed a massive shop! Saved £20with all the offeres I picked up, and also used coupons to get extra points etc, 700 points (£7) on my points card! Woop! Did spend £60 in the process but we are stocked up on toothpaste, shower get etc etc etc and so won't have to a mamouth one like that again for a couple of months!
Need to do a food shop tonight, but again will be as frugal as poss and no "treats" will go in the trolley!VIRGIN £1336.00 EGG £1759.58 HSBC £2177.39

I was just looking back at how well I did when we were saving our £2 coins for our holiday money earlier in the year. With this in mind I want to save £100 in £2 coins. This will go towards paying off the rest of my Post Office card.
2/50 so far!

OK so a little update of all the debts in one place! Did a bit of admin this morning so things look as follows;
VIRGIN £0!
POSTOFFICE £395
ASDA £525
MINT £207
EGG £1869.52
HSBC £2399.46
I really wanted to pay off the mint in full by the end of June but with some energy bills that have come through it will have to wait until the end of this month.
Had a lovely day off today, catching up on bills etc, ironing, washing and then in the garden for an hour or so! Sounds a bit mediocre and boring but I've enjoyed not having run around today and we had a lovely afternoon with freinds yesterday so its all good!
Will update my sig and then off to ebay stuff whilst watching a place in the sun. Nice!VIRGIN £1336.00 EGG £1759.58 HSBC £2177.39

Well, I didn't manage to bring anything to work for lunch today (naughty!) so instead got a meal deal and used my Boots points to pay! Had bought my daily fix of diet coke from home - bought 15 cans for £4 which works out at 26.6p per can! So I have only spent £1 on some yoghurt which was on offer and will have enough left to leave in the fridge and eat on Saturday when I'm next in (hate working on Saturdays! but needs must!)
Things are getting a little tricky with money at home. Normally Ipay everything out of my account and then give my OH a grand total of what he owes me. Thing is though my OH is waiting for money to come in from some invoices and it means that he's a bit tight this month - to the extent that if they don't come in in the next 3 weeks he won't be able to make the rent let alone pay me back. It's so hard because I don't want to leave bills outstanding but then if I don't have enough moeny left to get to work at the end of the month that won't do either!!! I'm trying so hard not to put things on my credit card because this is how I got into this mess in the first place but it does make me realise how vulnerable we are. If one of us looses a job we have no back up savings. I must address this but how can I start saving for an emergency fund when I don't know if I can pay the council tax!!
My plan is tonight to pay the Gas bill as it is only £35. That I can do one my own. The elec bill is being recalculated as we have recently moved suppliers and so that can wait for a little bit. If OH can afford half of the council tax then I'll do that tonight as well. Grrr to his company for holding out on him. People have no idea when they procrstinate and put that invoice back into the "to do" pile how they are mucking with people's lives.
Is it worth a punt on euromilions?! Someone once described the lotto as a tax on stupid people! I laugh everytime I see the queue at the lotto cashiers!

Oooh, well last night wasn't horrifically expensive, but did spend more than I intended to. Took out £30 cash in the morning and have £6.70 in my purse this morning! I hadn't taken any lunch to work but as I was going out straight from work I thought I'd have a large meal about 3:30pm to tide me over, hence jacket potato and filling £4.50.Paid £3 entry into the event and although I had a couple of drinks bought for me I then spent £10.50 on a round. In the morning I had bought an energy drink and a euro millions ticket (it was a roll over!) so that was another £3.50. It soon adds up doesn't it!!!
I'm out again from work - off to the theatre! Already have paid for my ticket and have bought another potato and cheese in from home which I will eat late again instead of having to have dinner. Have also bought in strawberries and soft drinks from home which is surprisingly organised of me as my head was rather cloudy this morning! We might go for a drink after the play but I should still have some dosh left when I get home
My OH is away this weekend playing at music festivals so tomorrow I plan to tidy up!!! Won't be needing to buy anything at all so a nice peaceful cheap day at home, and if the weather is nice a sneaky sunbathe.
Working Mon-Thurs next week and have some lovely things on as my birthday approaches! Dinner at friends on Tues, and eve with Mum on Wed and a possible freebie ticket to a dance show on Thurs! Then I am being whisked away for said birthday by my Mum and Dad (OH is away at more gigs) which should be fab! Really looking forward to it!
I spoke to a colleague yesterday and it looks as if we are going to be getting twice monthly payments from the promo job! Suits me completely! Have put in invoices for £600 in the hopes that comes in mid July! Most of the monthly bill are paid now, but there are a couple outstanding (Due to changing energy suppliers) which I could easily clear with that money and then put some more towards the sodding credit cards.
Uploaded loads of stuff to ebay so fingers crossed some of it will shift - if only to make some space inthe spare room!

Well, Saturday evening was lovely and spent at the theatre. Drinks were pricey but only bought one round which was 10 squids. Sunday I managed to spend a little more than I planned to on the food shopping, but a lot of of were deals that I could put in either the cupboard or freezer for another time. Also bought a bunch of flowers, a luxury I know but beautiful and at 3.50 didn't completely break the bank. Monday I took all my food and drink into work with me and as a result almost had a nsd until I bought somee choc for me and OH to share. He'd been away all weekend working so wanted to treat him and was also proud of the fact he'd cooked instead of getting the take away that he'd suggested earlier in the day. Not buying dinner (especially after I bought stuff on Sunday) meant he could give me the half of the council tax he owed me. So we are all square. Also took food in to the promo job today. Did have to buy a birthday pressie and card but due to my friend quirky taste and a discount shop I got everything for 4.50 which inc card, 2 blue glass vases and a box of chocs. Tomorrow I won't be able to take lunch as I'm staying at birthday friends tonight but the shop will have a cheap can of soup so its shouldn't be a pricey day. Pleased with my efforts this week, being mindful and a little bit prepared does really help.
Also sold some stuff on ebay! Didn't sell for much but it all helps and it gets it out of the house! Love the ebay app. Makes it all so easy. Will add more next week.

~Ok so I had to buy all my food today but have done well spending a total of £3.95 on breakfast and lunch! I have also cancelled 2 subscriptions, one to weightwatchers and the other to another website saving me £30 a month. Plan to put this towards CC debts as of August. Just had the loveliest birthday weekend! Was taken away by my folks and spent one warm and one wet day in Norfolk. Everything was paid for and I was totally spoilt! Bless my wonderful family! What a lovely weekend. Also was given some birthday money and some gorgeous gifts. Some of the money was given by my godmother to go towards a bracelet and there is a little more which I want to put towards some new work clothes and maybe some new gym clothes but Matalan will be my first port of call! Not wasting it by frittering it away! Going to try and save some of it and only make some very considered purchases! Can't wait!VIRGIN £1336.00 EGG £1759.58 HSBC £2177.39
