Pippi the men come between 9 and 9'30 tomorrow, can't believe this is our last night with our crappy windows and patio door, tomorrow i will be able to step outside to get to the back garden rather than having to walk all around the building. Hopefully it will make me more interested in sorting out the back garden and stuff.

Hope the window installation is going well!

I'm on the groupon email list and saw this and thought of you.

Their special offers don't last too long, a day or two so you'll need to make a quick decision!

I've not had any problems with any of their deals so far!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

The windows and french doors are in and are FAB!

I love them! have photo's of before and after which i'll upload soon but they are so very different from what we had before.

I tried to wash up the nets from before but once again i couldn't get all of the mildew out of them. We decided that new french doors deserved nets that actually fitted them, but i admitted that what i really wanted was vertical blinds. Anyway we went to Dunelm just to see what sort of price we were looking at (me imagining hundreds) and it looked like that was the case.

Then as we walked away OH spotted some ready made ones which you could fit to size, and the largest ones fitted our space. They had three colours one of which was a tenner more than the others for some reason but we brought a lovely cream one home and have now fitted it. It's take a little while and i've learnt some new skills but it looks fab. They're probably not the same weight and quality of the custom made ones but they're good for our use and look nice.

    sorry for the essay. :)

On a MSE note, i'm gonna charge my phone on cheap leccy tonight and put the washer on. (got to start clawing back one of the biggest cheques i've ever written)

got the allotment committee tomorrow - oh joy!

Makeup thanks for that i'll have a proper look at the site tomorrow.

and finally........... HOW CAN THEY CLOSE THE SITE DOWN ON A SATURDAY? don't they realise that i don't have much of a social life and am bound to be on here (when i'm not at the crop)

Sounds brilliant - and well worth the cost already by the sounds of it (plus just think how much value it will have added to the flat - more than the cost of them I bet!) - I'm so pleased it went well!

I agree wholeheartedly about the Saturday closure of the site thing - better prepare for FB to be busy! :D

it feels warmer already but i think that's because the weather is better. I certainly think it didn't drop as much as is used to overnight when we got up this morning.
