  • I wasn't having a go at you - why isn't your urgent health problem covered by the NHS? Again, I'm not having a pop, I'm just trying to understand.

Have you got enough in your budget to keep you going for the rest of the month? Are there any ways you could reduce your outgoings this month? The Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Moneysaving boards may have people that can help reduce costs and maybe find some surplus.

If all your money is spent each month at the moment how will you repay the loan?

I'm sorry . but it just that some people have bin pulling me down in some of there posts and I was not getting any sensible help from some of them . yes I can pay off the loan . I have try nhs but they have refused me , so I have found some where else I can get treatment . so I need this loan so I can get treatmet .

Surely if you need treatment for cancer the NHS are there to supply it? Are you looking to go privately for an appointment because I don't think £80 - £150 will necessarilly cover that.

for real? what cancer my mam is in remission from throat cancer (shes not a smoker and has never been) but all her treatment was free on the NHS and she works full time and stuff she really couldnt fault them

i hardly think the cure to cancer would cost £80 - £150

Yep, given the figures involved I do get a distinct whiff of fish.

ok from one girl to another girl....

you need money for health treatment and can't get it from nhs ... this should not be happening. I suggest you go to your doctors to discuss this thoroughly... you do seem to be in a bit of a pickle. maybe starting threads you can get help quicker just by stating whats the problem what you need money for and people can help you faster seems a lot of trivia to get to the core of the problem.

I had Bupa cover with my previous job, when my OH went to see a consultant (not for cancer but other health issues), that bill alone was around £150 - without any treatment involved!

If you really are looking for private treatment for cancer - you're going to have to budget a hell of a lot more than £150. Even a simple X-Ray sets you back by about £80 (on top of the consultancy fee) so gawd only knows how much cancer treatment is going to set you back!

I do hope you get it sorted though.

Cancer - have you had it confirmed or are you still having tests? Be careful going elsewhere for treatments as there are some people out there who will try to take advantage of others' misery.

Is it a mole? A smear test? Bowel cancer test? No-one knows who you are on here so don't be worried about saying - there may be another way around this if we know more about your situation.

Cancer treatment is very high on the NHS agenda and so treatment should be available very quickly; you shouldn't have to pay for it.

What exactly is the money for? Ignore all the negative comments, people are just finding it hard to understand your circumstances.

If you have a confirmed diagnosis of cancer, what is the reason that the NHS have refused to help you - your story doesn't add up.

If you have been diagnosed with cancer then the NHS should be there to help - suggest you tell the whole story and then see if people can help you. And £150 definately will not pay for private treatment - an initial consultation with a specialist is likely to be at least £250+.

Either you're being led up the garden path or you're telling porkies!
  • If you're looking for max £150 then you been advised already where to get that, from any one of the many payday loan companies, no mainstream bank is going to lend you a small amount like that well certainly not with your "bad credit" claim;)
