I telephoned them again yesterday morning about my wrong delivery as they had failed to ring me back.
They said that it must have been a picking error??? and a member of the sales team will call me.
I asked when? and they replied well it will be sometime over the next couple of days as they are rather busy!!!

I now have had a result as they called me yesterday tea time and said that a courier will call on Thursday and give me the right game and take the wrong one away (which was my suggestion to them as they had asked me to pop the wrong one in the post!)

will have to see if they turn up on Thursday?:rolleyes:

Yup, I had my order for Locoroco cancelled as well, despite the fact that they'd already stolen, yes 'stolen', the money from my account! Their position was that that particular deal was through Gameplay and not Empire Direct!

Also had my money back after 4 days, but no response to my emails and I'll boycott their stores and website for life, and recommend the same to all that will listen.

on their website -''If you would like to leave a Customer Comment, (whether good or bad!) please click here.'' - dont seem to be very keen on posting my customer comment about their crap service - in fact all their ''customer comments'' seem to be glowing praise - looks like the people posting here have just been very unfortunate!!!!!!!

Oh no, I did get my money back, I'm just PO'd that within about 30 seconds of seeing that the game was popular they knocked it up to full price and then said they've sold out even though you can buy it at full whack!:mad:

Maybe and i stress maybe i might be one of the lucky ones as i ordered Ridgeracer and Lemmings for the PSP to be sent to store at Romford.Called the store and was told they had RR in but not Lemmings and to call their head office.Did that and he said i'll tell you what i'll do you go collect the RR and i'll post the Lemmings to your home to arrive tomorrow.After hearing about Empire on here i won't hold my breath.

I can only speak for my own personal experience of this Company which so far has been very good.

I spotted this original thread a few days ago and was interested in ridge racer and the football game as they will make ideal Christmas presents.

I visited the site sometime during Wednesday evening, purchased both games and filled in my credit card details and contact details.

About 15 minutes later I got a call from a lady from Empire who said my card details were not being accepted, so would I mind providing them again. I did this and she said it went through this time.

She said she would put the games in packet post and that they would be delivered Friday.

Ive just been home for lunch and they were both on the door mat.

Like I said, everybodys experience is different, but thought it only fair to show that the Company does have a better side and do in fact deliver.... At least in my case.
