As you have said that the meter for the storage heaters isn’t spinning around, it sounds like you have some sort of stopped meter or faulty time switch.
This means that you will need to contact E.ON metering services to get this fixed/replaced.

Just a small query regarding economy 10 - at our new flat a second (off peak) meter is due to be fitted by e.on next week. Will it likely to be on the Economy 10 deal?

Hi Euan,
It sounds like we will be fitting a RHT meter as the economy 10 meters are just one unit.
So you will be billed on a tariff with RHT. The first meter records normal use, the second meter records off peak usage e.g. for storage heaters, water heating etc.
The unit prices will depend on your area, so contact E.ON as ask us for this.

Apologise, I have spoken to my landlord and a second meter isnt being fitted, instead the current meter is being replaced and the tariff is apparently Economy 10.
Could you please advise me as to what the offpeak times are for Economy 10 in South West Scotland?

i have also send a mail for economy 10 off peak times.
i have ended up submitting a complaint with how i left my provider eon to npower but was then left on economy 10 and was advised by eon coming back they would switch me to 7, the agent i had to chase ten times, he confirmed eventually it had been switched and yet i get my bill and it wasnt done. very poor made no effort depsite my numerous contact sometimes daily, we will see what comes of the complaint. however after reading this im not even sure economy7 would be right for me, im in an apartment block with no access to meter room, unless request a read, have panel heaters and all eclectric,0 -
I don't know if anyone from E.on is still looking at this thread but i also need some help with this!
I've just moved into an all electric flat with storage heaters etc on E.ON E10 EnergyPlan 15.
I've just been on the phone to E.on for half an hour trying to find out what the off peak times are with the result that several different people said that it was not possible for them to know what my off peak times are and i'll just have to listen out for when the meter clicks over!! This seems ridiculous but the phone call was beginning to cost a fortune and I was getting nowhere so I gave up. I don't see how they can bill me properly if they don't know what's going on.
I can find no information about economy 10 on the E.on website at all so if anyone can help me with this i'll be very grateful!
i'd like to know the off peak times and what exactly is off peak at each time - everything or just heating and/or hot water?
