Cleared out my undersink cupboard in the en-suite. Got rid of a large bin bag of out of date and never used items. I also tackled the toybox in the LR. Another large bin bag in the wheelie bin. In addition to the major clear out of the utility room and the major flinging that went on there is now the problem that there is no wheelie bin collection until Wednesday of Christmas week and the bin is full! I have the last week of my Homestart training course on Tuesday and have to go past the tip so that may be an option but that gives me less time to shop in the splendid town that is Saffron Walden.

Hope everyone had a good day. I'm for bed now. Goodnight all.

I hate to burst anyone's thaw bubble, especially up here but we are due for more cold weather and snow showers at the end of next week. I wonder if they will manage to clear this lot before it starts all over again.
Having been out today trying to start clearing what we've got I'm trying very hard not to think about the thaw ending. Just glad I'm not in the central belt - Edinburgh looks horrendous.

I am so angry that the government voted the student tuition fee's to rise so high, these are not in parity with other countries, not in any way shape or form.

soappie, eeeeee look lol brilliant on the eggs, all comes right to those who wait! Definately poach!
    seafarers_wife great news

Mudders Happy Birthday twin bean, I thought yours was tomorrow too the day after JJs....pah my memory
Thanks for the well dones, think I am still a bit in shock

It's like an ice rink out there, went for a quick shop while DS2 was at cubs as my swimming group was cancelled and nearly hit the floor with the bags several times getting from my car to the house (about 8 garages away) I think with it starting to melt the water on the ice just makes it worse. I'm going to clear the path between the 2 sets of garages tomorrow so I can get to the car in one piece, I give up with where people drive up and down to use the garages.

Picked up my IPS stuff this morning to start my training, went through the file with the parent partnership manager deciding what bits I need to do etc. Then off to the youth centre and spent 2 hours with DP installing the disco stuff for the kids discos tomorrow. I've managed a MASSIVE lot of paperwork sorting, I am currently gathering the 2010 paperwork box together you see so it takes some doing

:D I did find my Dunelm credit note, it's for £75 and ends soon so I need to use it. I need a blind....other than that I am wondering if they do anything suitable for gifts ....got that and £50 worth of M&S

As I've not had much sleep last night, think I best get to bed x x
One day I might be more organised...........

[wonders how hard it could be to get a couple of Rhode Island Reds into the back garden without anyone noticing....]

Oh well, landing clear, now got carpet runner spread over the boarding. MIL brought an old rectangular rug (flowery, not really my choice, but much better than concrete floor) with her today. The splats have been fighting over whose rug it is ever since it got rolled out.

DD got chucked off the bus by the snotty old driver because her pass has stopped working. Made one call to get a replacement sent out, one to the bus company to let them know what I think of their drivers throwing 11 year olds out in the dark, making them think that they will get into trouble with the police for fare evasion and saying that he will never let her on his bus ever again. DD's friends paid for her ticket with the next bus and took the old git's registration number, as he had hidden his ID card. So they know exactly who he is.

How lucky DD is to have such lovely sensible considerate friends!

I have just spent an hour detangling 400g ball of wool only to find in the middle a rolled up second 'ball' which had caused a massive tangle just to set me back an hours knitting!

Oh well cleaning can go hang tomorrow and I'll play catch up between feeds and washing and goodness knows what else.

Bedtime for OH as he has crashed on the sofa so I am going too.. :D I love going to bed I am such a dormouse! He is off 'home' for a friends birthday this weekend and is it really sad I don't want him to go cos I'll miss him? I'm certainly not going to tell him that as I think he is looking forward to it..

    Morning all,

    Much to do today .....

I am going to fly until lunchtime when I am going out for my works Christmas 'do'

I'm not a big fan of 'dos' like this but I feel I need to make the effort.

If I am a good girl, I am going to treat myself to a stop off at the big MS with some birthday vouchers afterwards.

Then home for a kip before DH get home.

    Hmm - sounds like a plan :D
