Anyway just to lighten the mood ..
When I was an Industrial Consultant ( many years ago) I had a disgruntled gentleman refered to me from another one of our offices.
He had registered as a reprographic platemaker
They tried to send the poor man for an interview at Worcester Porcelain :rotfl:
I probably know the people that done that.
In fact. I probably know you. :eek:Not Again0 -

If someone doesn't answer questions to my satisfaction I throw their CV in the bin & tell them I can't help them unless they co-operate because its all a waste of time.
Please explain _why_ you need this information. Other than for sales leads.0 -

Why do you?

I've begun to wonder if you really are involved in recruitment. Your posts do more to show recruitment agents in a bad light than anythng else posted on this thread.
Your lack of judgement and apparent inability to understand points being made to you make me sincerely hope I never have the misfortune to have to deal with you professionally.
When you are working do you listen to what employers tell you they want? Or are you so sure you know better that you tell them what YOU think they want?
I once asked some recruitment agencies to find me a candidate with specific experience and post graduate qualifications for a well paid career progression role. One agent bombarded me with CVs for people who didn't have any experience or qualifications relevent to the role. Was that you?
I bet you didn't even understand the role yourself, forwarded the CVs from the agency to the decision makers & embarrassed yourself.
That is why you are so cross with "agencies".
& by the way, what exactly is a "career progression role"? :rotfl:Not Again0 -

I added some additional information to my question. I thought you might have some difficulty. To summarise....
You suggest to me roles X, Y or Z at A, B, C.
Then I tell you which ones I've been represented for, then you spend two days on the ones I havn't been represented for and hopefully you earn a nice commission and I get a new gig.
In the above scenario, you don't need to know what roles I've gone for. You won't be duplicating me for any roles. So why are you asking for them?0 -

It was for the role I was being promoted from, so yes, I did undertand it perfectly, that was why I was asked to recruit my replacement myself.
I was the final decision maker.
If you don't know what career progression is you are either in the wrong job or you are a troll. My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

So, you put forward candidates without checking with them first? Surely, if you'd enough grey matter to keep your ears apart, you'd check with the candidate before you spent two days faffing around? Especially as these days its on a role by role basis? What exactly are you spending two days doing?
Because I thought this was how it worked.
Agent: I have roles A, B and C at Clients X, Y, Z
Candidate: I have been put forward for A at X, B and Y, but not C at Z. Please represent me for C at Z.
Why do you feel the need to edit your posts?
Is it because you don't have enough grey matter to work out that you already had the answer to the question you asked?
By the way your original question is in my quote above because obviously by now you have worked out that an edit shows up & I have already quoted you.
Just another typical example of the idiocy of this thread & people start throwing their toys out when they get a bit back. Not Again0
