Insert a WRONG sim card, one that doesn’t work in your phone. When it says phone restricted, press ‘undo’. It will ask you for a restriction code, and input the code into the box on the screen.

Thanks baldhead. I have tried the 6070 code and i get "cannot remove restriction". I have tried thre times and dont want to lock out.Have you any ideas. E
6230 worked great. Also would you have code for 6233 imei 352749015473594 tied with orange. Thanks a million.:beer:

My wife and kids are going to Spain and I'll meet them in 2 1/2 weeks. I'd like to get her Virgin Nokia 2600 unlocked so she can use a local sim card.

Sorry, “Cannot undo restriction” or “Not allowed” means your phone is now hardlocked, as you have used more than 5 codes and 3 on some models, so the only solution now, is by taking it to a professional unlocker for direct unlocking, as there is no software or cables to unlock your phone. You are able to still use it on it’s original network.

There are no remote codes for that phone, because it’s a BB5 phone. The best bet is to contact your service provider and ask them if they can unlock it for you, but it will cost.
