every code is unique to each handset so noone elses code will work with yours
you only get 5 tries (sometimes 3) at code unlocking
this should be yours

on reading the post top of the page i noticed the list of phones that cant be unlocked i was hoping to unlock a nokia 6680 on 3 on the list it says 6680 rm-36 what does the rm-36 is that specific to nokia 6680's or is it certain phones

it's the version of the software....and 3 can unlock it in the last month of the contract

It didn't work, but I have tried a couple now that haven't worked. When I have delved a bit deeper I am not sure that it is locked now. It is coming up with the error 'Insert Sim card'. I have just rung my sister (who gave me the phone) and it appears that she lost the phone at one point and reported it stolen. She is going to 'unreport' it now.
