Hello, I have a Nokia 1112 locked to Virgin UK with IMEI: 35229 80189 95278

I understand that there are difficulties with unlocking this phone, but I was hoping someone might have found a way? If so I would love to hear from you.

Could it be done with a cable if I took it to my local dodgey-dealer? There are loads of shops around here offering unlocking for a fiver.

If not I guess I will just top-up £15 and get Virgin to do it...

I realise that the 6131 nokia cannot supposedly be unlocked without the network agreeing but has anyone got round this and if so got any codes?
